Descriptive information can be associated with each image and used to replace placeholders (variables). Descriptors which currently hold values are indicated by a green checkmark.
System descriptors are used internally by StudioLine. Layout-specific descriptors are time-savers in Layouts with image views. Users can define any number of additional descriptors.

This text is displayed instead of a picture, if a web site visitor has disabled the display of any images in the browser settings. Many browsers will also display the alternate text, whenever the cursor rests over the picture. Default: %%Name%% |

The name of the picture in the Image Archive. |

Path to the image file on the local computer or network. Default: Path the image was originally imported from. |

A legend or descriptive text for the picture. Typically displayed as a caption below the picture. |

Associates a new descriptor with images. Descriptor names may contain only basic alphanumeric characters, special language-specific characters will not be accepted. Descriptors added in Image Archive mode will be available systemwide. Descriptors added in Page Editor or Layout mode will only be available for images on that page. Descriptors added to a Layout Template will only be available in derived pages. |
Delete |
Deletes this descriptor from all images. |
