Web Galleries

StudioLine can generate fully functional picture galleries that may be viewed with the popular web browsers and that can be published to a web site.

Each web gallery has an index page, showing thumbnail images of all pictures in that gallery. By clicking a thumbnail image, a page will open showing a larger view of that same image together with any narrative text. Navigation buttons allow you to browse other images in the gallery or to return to the index page.

Creating a Web Gallery

In the Image Archive, select any number of images. Then click the “Web Gallery” on the QuickStep Bar. The “Web Gallery” panel will open and allow you to choose from a number of gallery designs:

The left pane shows different styles for the thumbnail images. Click on any of the styles to preview the gallery’s index page in the right pane. Accept your design choice by clicking the “OK” button.

Next you’ll decide on a name for the gallery. Once you click “OK” again, there will be a slight delay while StudioLine generates the web gallery.

Customizing a Web Gallery

After generating the web gallery, StudioLine switches to Page Editor mode where you work on the gallery pages. Refer to the QuickStep bar for additional instructions.
