It was truly a team effort as the USA as each member had solid performances all day long. It appeared as soon as one team member who start to slide (an 8 or 9),the next shooter would score consecutive 10s to put them back on track. The USA had eliminated Ukraine handily in the quarter-finals and do the same against Italy in the semifinals. The match against Korea became the biggest challenge of the day.

Mike KING, Coach of the USA team offered one of the reasons that he thought why Korea had two low scoring shots (6 & 7), "Korea may have been thinking (worrying about us).

Italy picked up the bronze medal after winning their match against Australia.
