To establish a Web Site on the Internet you are required to register a Domain Name. You can register this Domain Name with the company Melbourne IT, for a set fee. This will be the address of your Web Site and in most cases this will take the form of www.yourcompanyname.com.au and this is how Internet users can locate you on the Internet. Once you have registered a Domain Name, an Internet Service Provider (ISP) such as TPG Internet will need to host this Domain Name. We call this Domain Name Hosting which provides you with a link to the .com.au extension.
