Manual Transfers

Manual transfers are file transfers that are not managed by the queue and will be started immediately after you have executed one of the following actions:

Using the Menu Command:
Select the files and directories you want to transfer, then select "Download" or "Upload" from the "Transfer" Menu.

Using the Pop-Up Menu Command:
Select the files and directories you want to transfer, then right click anywhere over the selection and choose "Download" or "Upload" from the pop-up menu.

Using the ToolBar:
Select the files and directories you want to transfer, then click on one these toolbar buttons:

To Upload the current file selection.
To Download the current file selection.

Double Click:
Make sure that "Double Click Action" is set to "Transfer" in the FTP Session - Advanced tab of the Preferences dialog box, then simply double-click on any file/directory to transfer it.




Queued Transfers

Queued transfers are handled by the Queue. After adding files/directories to the queue, you can start the transfer at any time.

Adding files/directories to the queue :
To add files/directories to the queue, select the files and directories you want to transfer, then select "Add to Queue" from the "Queue" Menu ( or click the "Add to Queue" button of the toolbar ).
You can also add files/directories to the queue from any browser by dragging a FTP URL ( any URL that begins with ftp:// ) and dropping it over the Queue window.

Starting the transfer :
Simply select "Transfer" from the "Queue" Menu ( or click the "Transfer Queue" button of the toolbar ).
Queued transfers can be stopped at any time by selecting "Stop/Abort" from the "Commands" Menu.
