All
of the works you in the Club Med section have come from the
creative imaginations of students in the Online Media
Production course at Charles Sturt University, Bathurst.
The
Online Media Production course aims to educate students in the
ever-changing field of digital media technology. It is a
diverse course that encourages creativity, while also
grounding itself firmly in a theoretical background. Students
are strongly encouraged to take their skills out of classroom
and create works for themselves. All the work in this section
of the DVD come to you from a few motivated and hard working
students who have sacrificed their University holidays to
create what you are about to see.
While
the year 2000 will see hordes of people descend on Sydney for
the Olympics, the students in Bathurst are hoping that
November 2000 will see a tremendous crowd descend on Bathurst
for Charles Sturt University’s 4th Annual Glitch Film
Festival, an event entirely produced by Online Media
Production students. This year’s Glitch is expected to be
bigger and better than ever, showcasing the best work produced
by media students and awarding prizes. The Glitch Film
Festival is also an arena where students' work can receive
wider exposure.
