Who we are?

Atlanta Gender Explorations (AGE) is an open transgender support group for all persons working to discover who they are in terms of gender. AGE is a safe, confidential, caring support group for both the trangendered (those who themselves have an issue with gender) and their loved ones and friends.

Among our diverse membership you will find those who are just beginning their gender exploration and those who have been on their journey for many years. Our members identify themselves as transsexuals, transgenderists, crossdressers, or intersexed, whether gay, straight, bisexual or asexual. All share the common need to explore and understand their gender issue. One thing you will not find, however, is anyone hoping to use the group as an opportunity for predatory sexual behavior.

Atlanta Gender Explorations is a large and thriving support group open to all transgendered and transsexual people, their friends and families and interested helping professionals. We publish a quarterly newsletter, The Two-Spirit News; host the annual Atlanta Gender Community Awards Banquet; and provide personal growth opportunities for all transgendered and transsexual people.
