Constructor

FileSystemEntry Constructor [To be supplied.]

Properties

Attributes Retrieves or sets the attributes of the current file or directory.
CreationTime Retrieves the creation time of the current file or directory.
Exists Indicates whether the file or directory exists.
FullName Retrieves the full path of the directory or file.
IsDirectory Indicates whether the object is a directory.
IsFile Indicates whether the object is a file.
LastAccessTime Retrieves the time the current file or directory was last accessed.
LastWriteTime Retrieves the time when the current file or directory was last written to.
Name For files, retrieves the name of the file. For directories, retrieves the name of the last directory in the hierarchy if possible, otherwise retrieves the fully qualified name.

Methods

Delete Deletes a file or directory.
Equals (inherited from Object) Determines whether the specified Object is the same instance as the current Object. Subclasses are expected to override this method to support value equality (not reference equality).
GetHashCode (inherited from Object) Serves as a hash function for a particular type, suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table.
GetType (inherited from Object) Gets the Type of the Object.
Refresh Refreshes the file or directory attribute information.
ToString (inherited from Object) Returns a String that represents the current Object.

Finalize (inherited from Object) Allows an Object to attempt to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by the Garbage Collector (GC). This method may be ignored by the runtime; therefore, necessary cleanup operations should be done elsewhere.
MemberwiseClone (inherited from Object) Creates a shallow copy of the current Object.

Fields

FullPath Retrieves the fully qualified path of the directory.
