HttpCachePolicy Methods

The methods of the HttpCachePolicy class are listed below. For a complete list of HttpCachePolicy class members, see the HttpCachePolicy Members topic.

AddValidationCallback Registers a validation callback for the current response.
AppendCacheExtension [To be supplied.]
Equals (inherited from Object) Determines whether the specified Object is the same instance as the current Object. Subclasses are expected to override this method to support value equality (not reference equality).
GetCurrentSettings [To be supplied.]
GetHashCode (inherited from Object) Serves as a hash function for a particular type, suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table.
GetType (inherited from Object) Gets the Type of the Object.

SetETag [To be supplied.]
SetEtagFromFileDependencies Sets the Etag header.
SetExpires [To be supplied.]
SetLastModified [To be supplied.]
SetLastModifiedFromFileDependencies Sets the Last-Modified: header based on the timestamps of the file dependencies of the handler.
SetMaxAge Sets Cache-Control: s-maxage based on the specified time span
SetNoServerCaching [To be supplied.]
SetNoStore [To be supplied.]
SetNoTransforms Enables the sending of the CacheControl: no-transform directive.
SetProxyMaxAge Sets Cache-Control: s-maxage based on the specified time span

ToString (inherited from Object) Returns a String that represents the current Object.

Protected:

Finalize (inherited from Object) Allows an Object to attempt to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by the Garbage Collector (GC). This method may be ignored by the runtime; therefore, necessary cleanup operations should be done elsewhere.
MemberwiseClone (inherited from Object) Creates a shallow copy of the current Object.
