BitArray Methods

The methods of the BitArray class are listed below. For a complete list of BitArray class members, see the BitArray Members topic.

Public:

And Performs the bitwise AND operator on the elements in the current BitArray against the corresponding elements in the specified BitArray.
Equals (inherited from Object) Determines whether the specified Object is the same instance as the current Object. Subclasses are expected to override this method to support value equality (not reference equality).
Get Retrieves the value of the bit at a specific position in the BitArray.
GetHashCode (inherited from Object) Serves as a hash function for a particular type, suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table.
GetType (inherited from Object) Gets the Type of the Object.
Not Inverts all the bit values in the array, so that elements set to true are changed to false, and elements set to false are changed to true.
Or Performs the bitwise OR operator on the elements in the current BitArray against the corresponding elements in the specified BitArray.
Set Assigns a value to the bit at a specific position in the BitArray.
SetAll Assigns a value to all bits in the BitArray.
ToString (inherited from Object) Returns a String that represents the current Object.
Xor Performs the bitwise eXclusive OR operator on the elements in the current BitArray against the corresponding elements in the specified BitArray.

Protected:

Finalize (inherited from Object) Allows an Object to attempt to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by the Garbage Collector (GC). This method may be ignored by the runtime; therefore, necessary cleanup operations should be done elsewhere.
MemberwiseClone (inherited from Object) Creates a shallow copy of the current Object.
