UInt64.ToString (UInt64)

Converts a specified UInt64 to a String. The UInt64 type is not CLS compliant. The CLS-compliant alternative is Int64.

[Visual Basic] The UInt64 type cannot be used in Visual Basic.

Parameters [C#, C++, JScript]

l
The UInt64 value to be converted.

Return Value [C#, C++, JScript]

The result of converting the argument to a string in base 10 with no extra padding.

Remarks [C#, C++, JScript]

The ToString method uses the base-10 representation of this UInt64 and adds no extra padding.

If this instance is negative, the first character in the string returned will be the minus sign ("-"). No sign character is returned if the number is non-negative. The rest of the string returned is made up of characters representing the magnitude of this instance, not to include leading zero characters ("0").

The following characters are allowable digits: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.

The output from ToString should be consumable by FromString.
