UserPreferenceCategories Enumeration

This enum identifies areas of user preferences that have changed.

[JScript] In JScript, you can use the enumerations in the NGWS frameworks, but you cannot define your own.

Members

Member Name Description
Accessibility The accessibility category contains user preferences associated with accessibility of the system for users with disabilities.
Color The color category contains user preferences associated with system colors, such as the default color of windows or menus.
Desktop The desktop category contains user preferences associated with the system desktop. This may reflect a change in desktop background images, or desktop layout.
General The general category contains user preferences that are not associated with any other category.
Icon The icon category contains user preferences for icon settings. This includes icon height and spacing, for example.
Keyboard The keyboard category contains user preferences for keyboard settings. This may include such things as keyboard repeat rate.
Menu The menu category contains user preferences for menu settings, such as meny delays and text alignment.
Mouse The mouse category contains user preferences for mouse settings, such as double click time and mouse sensitivity.
Policy The policy category contains user preferences for policy settings, such as user rights and access levels.
Power The power category contains user preferences for system power settings. An example of a power setting is the time required for the system to automatically enter low power mode.
Screensaver The screensaver category contains user preferences associated with the screensaver.
Window The window category contains user preferences associated with the dimensions and characteristics of windows on the system.
