ToolboxItem Methods

The methods of the ToolboxItem class are listed below. For a complete list of ToolboxItem class members, see the ToolboxItem Members topic.

Public:

CreateComponents Overloaded. [To be supplied.]
Equals (inherited from Object) Determines whether the specified Object is the same instance as the current Object. Subclasses are expected to override this method to support value equality (not reference equality).
GetHashCode (inherited from Object) Serves as a hash function for a particular type, suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table.
GetType (inherited from Object) Gets the Type of the Object.
Save Saves this ToolboxItem's state from the stream. If derived classes wish to do any special persistance they MUST override this method, and first call base.Save() before doing their own persistance.
ToString (inherited from Object) Returns a String that represents the current Object.

Protected:

CreateComponentsCore Creates objects from each Type contained in this ToolboxItem, and adds them to the designer. You may override this method to alter the way components are created.
Finalize (inherited from Object) Allows an Object to attempt to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by the Garbage Collector (GC). This method may be ignored by the runtime; therefore, necessary cleanup operations should be done elsewhere.
Load Loads this ToolboxItem's state from the stream. If derived classes wish to do any special persistance they MUST override this method, and first call base.Load() before doing their own persistance.
MemberwiseClone (inherited from Object) Creates a shallow copy of the current Object.
OnComponentsCreated Fires a handler that will be fired when this ToolboxItem creates a Component.

Event Hookup:

AddOnComponentsCreated Adds a handler that will be fired when this ToolboxItem creates a Component.
RemoveOnComponentsCreated Removes a handler that will be fired when this ToolboxItem creates a Component.
