The methods of the Guid structure are listed below. For a complete list of Guid structure members, see the Guid Members topic.
Equals | Determines whether the specified Guid is equal to this instance. |
Format | [To be supplied.] |
GetHashCode | Returns the first 32 bits (4 bytes) of the Guid. |
GetType (inherited from Object) | Gets the Type of the Object. |
NewGuid | Forms a new GUID. |
NextGuid | Creates a new Guid object that is the next one in the range. |
ToByteArray | Returns a 16-element unsigned byte array that represents the GUID. |
ToString | Returns the Guid in registry format. This format is as follows (note the lowercase):
{ffffffff-ffff-ffff-ffff-ffffffffffff} |
Finalize (inherited from Object) | Allows an Object to attempt to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by the Garbage Collector (GC). This method may be ignored by the runtime; therefore, necessary cleanup operations should be done elsewhere. |
MemberwiseClone (inherited from Object) | Creates a shallow copy of the current Object. |
