DataGridValueColumn Methods

Dispose (inherited from Component) Disposes of the Component.

Equals (inherited from Object) Determines whether the specified Object is the same instance as the current Object. Subclasses are expected to override this method to support value equality (not reference equality).
GetBackBrush (inherited from DataGridColumn) [To Editor: I think this is going away.]

Gets the background color of a specified row.

GetBackColor (inherited from DataGridColumn) Gets either the BackColor or the AlternatingBackColor of a specified row.
GetColumnValueAtRow (inherited from DataGridColumn) Gets the value in the specified row from the specified DataView.
GetContainer (inherited from Component) Returns the IContainer that contains the Component.
GetDesignMode (inherited from Component) Gets a value indicating whether the Component is currently in design mode.
GetHashCode (inherited from Object) Serves as a hash function for a particular type, suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table.

GetPreferredSize Returns the preferred width and height of the cell in the row specified with rowNum.
GetServiceObject (inherited from Component) Returns an object representing a service provided by the Component.
GetType (inherited from Object) Gets the Type of the Object.
KeyPress (inherited from DataGridColumn) Provides a handler for determining which key was pressed, and whether to process it.
MouseDown (inherited from DataGridColumn) Indicates whether the a mouse down event occurred at the specified row, at the specified x and y coordinates.

ResetAlternatingBackColor (inherited from DataGridColumn) Resets the AlternatingBackColor property to its default value.
ResetBackColor (inherited from DataGridColumn) Resets the BackColor property to its default value.
ResetFont (inherited from DataGridColumn) Resets the Font property to its default value.
ResetForeColor (inherited from DataGridColumn) Resets the ForeColor property to its default value.
ResetHeader (inherited from DataGridColumn) Resets the Header to its default value (a null reference (in Visual Basic Nothing)).
SetColumnValueAtRow (inherited from DataGridColumn) Sets the value in a specified row with the value from a specified DataView.
ShouldPersistAlternatingBackColor (inherited from DataGridColumn) Indicates whether the AlternatingBackColor property should be persisted.
ShouldPersistBackColor (inherited from DataGridColumn) Indicates whether the BackColor property should be persisted.
ShouldPersistFont (inherited from DataGridColumn) Indicates whether the Font property should be persisted.
ShouldPersistForeColor (inherited from DataGridColumn) Indicates if the ForeColor property should be persisted.
ShouldPersistHeader (inherited from DataGridColumn) Indicates whether the Header property should be persisted.
ToString (inherited from Component) Returns a String containing the name of the Component, if any. This method should not be overridden. For internal use only.

BeginUpdate (inherited from DataGridColumn) Suspends the painting of the column until the EndUpdate method is called.
CheckValidDataSource (inherited from DataGridColumn) Checks if the specified DataView is valid.
EndUpdate (inherited from DataGridColumn) Resumes the painting of columns suspended by calling the BeginUpdate method.
Finalize (inherited from Object) Allows an Object to attempt to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by the Garbage Collector (GC). This method may be ignored by the runtime; therefore, necessary cleanup operations should be done elsewhere.
HideEditBox Hides the TextBox control and moves the focus to the DataGrid control.
Invalidate (inherited from DataGridColumn) Redraws the column and causes a paint message to be sent to the control.
MemberwiseClone (inherited from Object) Creates a shallow copy of the current Object.
OnPropertyChanged (inherited from DataGridColumn) Raises the OnPropertyChanged event.
RaisePropertyChanged (inherited from DataGridColumn) Raises the OnPropertyChanged event. This creates the needed event data and then calls OnPropertyChanged.

SetDataGridInColumn Whenever this property gets called, we add our child control to the DataGrid's ControlCollection

Event Hookup:

AddOnPropertyChanged (inherited from DataGridColumn) Adds an event handler for the OnPropertyChanged event.
RemoveOnPropertyChanged (inherited from DataGridColumn) Removes an event handler for the OnPropertyChanged event.
