ResourceManager Methods

The methods of the ResourceManager class are listed below. For a complete list of ResourceManager class members, see the ResourceManager Members topic.

Public:

Equals (inherited from Object) Determines whether the specified Object is the same instance as the current Object. Subclasses are expected to override this method to support value equality (not reference equality).
GetHashCode (inherited from Object) Serves as a hash function for a particular type, suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table.
GetObject Overloaded. Gets the value of the specified resource.
GetResourceSet Gets the specified ResourceSet.
GetString Overloaded. Gets the value of the specified resource.
GetType (inherited from Object) Gets the Type of the Object.
ReleaseAllResources Tells the ResourceManager to call Close on all ResourceSet objects and release all resources. This will shrink the working set in a running application. Any future resource lookups on this ResourceManager will be as expensive as the first lookup, since it will need to search and load resources again.

This may be useful in some complex threading scenarios, where creating a new ResourceManager is not quite the correct behavior.

ToString (inherited from Object) Returns a String that represents the current Object.

Protected:

Finalize (inherited from Object) Allows an Object to attempt to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before the Object is reclaimed by the Garbage Collector (GC). This method may be ignored by the runtime; therefore, necessary cleanup operations should be done elsewhere.
GetResourceFileName [To be supplied.]
InternalGetResourceSet [To be supplied.]
MemberwiseClone (inherited from Object) Creates a shallow copy of the current Object.
