The Permission INI File Editor (piniedit) creates and edits .ini files for use with the signcode tool.
Use the following command to run piniedit:
piniedit [inifilename]
inifilename | Permission INI file to edit. |
Piniedit provides a quick way to create .ini files that are used with the signcode tool. It uses .ini files to provide descriptions of the permission settings needed by Java applets. Using an .ini file with signcode enables you to digitally sign your applet with the permissions encoded within the digital signature.
Alternatively, you can manually create .ini files and set the value of each of its variables. Piniedit creates and edits .ini files quickly and easily by enabling you to specify the permissions using a graphical user interface.
For details on creating .ini files using piniedit, see Using the Permissions INI File Editor.
