setPosition

This method of the Direct3dRMFrame Class sets the position of a frame, relative to the frame of reference. This method places the frame a distance of [x, y, z] from the reference. When a child frame is created within a parent frame, it is placed at [0, 0, 0] in the parent frame.

Syntax

public void setPosition(Direct3dRMFrame reference, float x, float y, float z);

Parameters

reference The Direct3dRMFrame object to be used as the reference.
x The x-coordinate of the new position for the frame.
y The y-coordinate of the new position for the frame.
z The z coordinate of the new position for the frame.
