Grey Olltwit's Bowling Game

How To Play

The game is a bit like ten pin bowling but is not scored the same. I tried to recreate the scoring but it gave me a headache so you will have to make do with this effort.

First choose the number of people wishing to play i.e. 1,2,3 or 4. Then at the next screen each player will be prompted to press the SPACE BAR to produce a bowling ball, except in the 1 Player game where you play against the Computer which is Player 2, so it will take it's go automatically. The bowling ball will moving from side to side so that each player must use their skill and judgement to bowl the ball at just the right position. To bowl the ball you press the Shift key. To give the ball some spin press the Right or Left arrow key, depending on which direction you want to spin the ball, just after pressing Shift. The number of times you press the arrow keys determines the extent of the spin. You are only able to spin the ball for a short time after pressing shift i.e. it won't work near the pins.

Typing "Q" will quit the game or choose Quit from the top menu or the cross in the right hand corner. "R" will Restart a new game and typing "N" when a game is finished will take you onto the Next game. The running totals of games won and lost is kept at the bottom of the score board.

If some of the writing is difficult to see it may be that you don't have the Arial Font on your Computer. I have enclosed a copy in the Bowling folder in the Olltwit directory on your C drive. Just copy and paste it into the Fonts folder in your Windows directory.

To uninstall the program go to Control Panel and choose Add/Remove programs. Select Grey Olltwit's Bowling Game from the drop down list and click the Remove button.
