Q : Rolling titles stop
as soon as the last line of the title is visible.
A: Got to the Make mode in Studio 7, select “Make Tape”
go to the “Settings” Button, select “Studio DVplus” as play back device.
A: The initial release of the upgrade supports Studio
DV and Studio DVplus, other OHCI 1394 based products, PCTV Series, other BT848/878
tuner boards, PCTV USB, USB- Web CAMS
A version that adds support for Studio DC 10plus will come soon. Studio version
7 will not support Studio 400 or Studio MP10
A: Even when no FireWire card is installed in you computer,
Studio 7 tries to capture from a DV source as default. Go to “Setup=>Video
source=>Capture device select here the right device where you want to capture
from.

open my previous Studio projects with the new version 7 ?

Yes, when you click on „Load Project“ just select *.sdv as file type.

A: Make sure that you have selected the right input Device
for the Microphone in the settings.
A: Make sure that you have selected
the right drive letter for the right CD-Rom in the Studio settings.
A: The maximum file size is 10 MB. The file is stored
for 30 days.
A: Yes, Studio 7 can read those AVI files.
A: Pinnacle will support the Studio 7 Software and compatibility
with Pinnacle Hardware. If you have problems with your 3rd Party Hardware, please
contact the vendor of you hardware. If you are using an OHCI1394 capture card,
use the AM Capture tool to check if your 3rd Party Hardware is working at all.
You find this Tool in the “Tool” folder of Studio 7.
Q :
Rolling titles stop as soon as the last line of the title is visible.
A
: To have the title roll off the top of the screen, add some blank lines at
the end of the title.
To
do this:
1. Open your rolling title by double-clicking
on it in the timeline.
2. Put the cursor to the right of the last letter
on the bottom line of your title.
3. Press the return key 2 or 3 times.
4. Press the green check mark in the upper right
hand corner of the title
window to accept your changes.
You
can add or remove these blank lines to have the text of the title stop
where
you want it on the screen (or off the screen).
There is a file called "HFX4.dll" on the system that installs with the Studio 7 software.This file may be corrupted.
There are two ways to deal with this issue:
Start to do a file find on the computer system for "HFX4.dll".
The file will be found in two locations:
C:\Program Files\Pinnacle\HFX Basic for Studio\Host Plugins\Studio
And:
C:\ Program Files\Pinnacle\Studio 7\Plugins
