    Mini World Converter - Manual
You have found your way to the manual of the Mini World Converter, released as part of the Currency Converter 2 package.

mini world converter This program is, as it says, a mini converter. Easy to use, but not much functionality other then actual converting. If you've used its big-brother Currency Converter 2, you are well prepared for using this little tool.

system-tray So, how does it work? The program loads a small world-icon in the system-tray. (that's the square with the small icons on the taskbar, near the clock on the right)

If you right-mouseclick that little world icon, the window as shown above pops up. Press it again, and it'll disappear again. (or press the X or Alt-F4 in that window)

pop-up menu Extended in the Mini World Converter 1.02 release is the pop-up menu. Right-mouseclick on the icon and the menu appears looking somewhat like the image shown here.

Show, Hide and Exit will indeed show, hide and exit the Converter-window. You have found your way to the manual, so I'll assume you've figured out the help-button and about-button. The Config item might need some explaining as it leads to an important new feature. The HotKeys!

      config-menu

Here you can set the hotkey / keyboard shortcut for hiding and showing the converter window. Yes, you can now assign a keyboard-shortcut to the Mini-World Converter to access the program right from your favourite text-editor or Office-suite.

Just Click the text-field where is says "CTRL+`" and press a keyboard shortcut (for example CTRL+G) on the keyboard. It'll then say CTRL and G, press OK and Voila. If everything is OK, next time you press CTRL+G it'll pop-up the converter-window... Easy as 123.

A great manual for a great application will probably have quite a few more important things to say. This isn't a great manual for a great application, so I'll not waste your time talking about unimportant things, and let you get back to work.

Thanks for downloading and reading. All feedback is welcome. Enjoy the program.
