Stay Tuned

I started FerrariNet in May 1994 to share my enthusiasasm for the Italian marque with others in the online community. In the beginning, FerrariNet was the only site available online covering Ferraris and quickly grew with support from dedicated enthusiasts around the globe such as Chris Kanterjiev of the Dimebank Garage, Jeff Littrell of Sempre Ferrari, Christian Gurney, Carlton Fung, and Pat Scopelitti as well as many others who contributed time and energy. I would like to give my thanks to them for all of their help. It wasn't long until several magazines recognized the accomplishments of FerrariNet including ComputerLife, PC Computing, Yahoo! Internet Life, Automobile, Prancing Horse, Ferrari World, Ferrari Market Letter, and Sempre Ferrari. I hope FerrariNet is remembered for years to come for the value it brought to old enthusiasts and by the new enthusiasts it inspired. FerrariNet was taken offline during the middle of July 1996 due to legal action by Ferrari SpA.

Ranked #1 on Automobile's Coolest Web Site List
A serious Web site for serious redhead fans. Includes color photos, archives, racing news, related publications (and Web sites), plus a Who's Who of Ferrari Owners on the Net. Where else could you learn that musician/composer Herbie Hancock owns a 1994 348 Spyder in rosa metallic and black?

Three Stars

The unofficial FerrariNet site runs almost neck and neck with Ferrari's official Web presence. The impressive and extensive photo gallery includes over 75 images ranging from vintage Ferraris to new models to racing machines. Producer Ryan Snodgrass features many resources online, including a pricing guide, club newsletters, submitted stories from Ferrari owners, and a quite useful technical-tips page. Also included at FerrariNet is info on dealers and parts, factory tours, clubs and organizations, and a log of Ferrari owners from across the Net -- to inspire a sharing of enthusiasm, of course. Since FerrariNet abandoned their racing section, the official Ferrari site gets the checkered flag, but FerrariNet runs a close second.

FerrariNet is the original and best Ferrari site. This site is exhaustive and potentially addictive. About the only thing missing is a graphical tour of the Ferrari factory. You'll see tons of pictures, including a Ferrari Fine Art section, where you can view images like the Ferrari Daytona that won the first Cannonball Run. Learn the history behind the prancing horse logo. Click on a U.S. map to find dealers, mechanics, or parts in your area. Read or contribute a technical tip, check out the excerpts from the Ferrari Market Letter (the Ferrari classifieds/price guide newsletter), and get information on market prices, events, and racing.

1996

FerrariNet picked as one of PC Computing's 1001 Best Sites on the Web.
