You can
change Pixia configuration settings from this dialog box. The options
in the Preferences dialog box are grouped under five tabs. When you have
finished setting preferences, click the OK button. The actual functions
may be different from this discription, depending on the version of Pixia
you are using.
Basic

The result gets displayed realtime.
* Notation of Number
This

in P-panel, RGB, CMY values in C-panel. Choose between 0-255 and
0-100.

Layer

* Default Display Setting
This changes the default setting of the display mode of a newly
added layer.
(The display mode can be changed at L-panel.)
* No Redrawing Current Layer
Checking
this option will restrain update of the thumbnail pictures at
L-panel. Thumbnail pictures of L-apnel will get updated only after
activating another layer. Check this when you want to make the
speed of L-panel.
* Double Accuracy as Default
This
will make "Double Accuracy" mode default, when you open
a new canvas.
|
Undo

*
Undo Count[0-100]
When
this setting, you can change the number of steps that can be undone
from [Edit]-[Undo] by entering values in the text box or
by using the arrow buttons to change the value. Do not input a
value too high, or the undo buffer will consume a huge disk space.
* Restrain during Freehand
PIXIA
creates undo files after each stroke of pen on the canvas, and
this may result in slow response using free hand drawing. Checking
this opetion restrains making undo files, which will only be made
after several pen strokes. The drawback of this function is that
undo will reset a lot of pen strokes at one time, and so you cannot
undo only one stroke.

File

*
No warming when PXA not used
Extra information such as layers, transparency, mask, etc. can
be saved only when you save the image in "PXA" file
format. Saving in other formats will lose all this information.
Checking this option will display a dialog every time you save
an image in a format other than "PXA". It is recommended
to leave this option checked till you get used to the difference.

Advanced
Option

*
Position Smoothing
This will make free-hand strokes smooth. The larger the figure,
the smoother the strokes will become, but it may make operation
very slow, depending on the power of your machine. The figure
you can input here is 1 - 20.
*
Anti Arias
Anti Alias is the function to eliminate jagginess of pen strokes
by adding pixels of thinner colors around the edge of strokes.
Choose among the three selections.
