Controlling Browsers
Its quite easy to use BrowserSizer to control both Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) and Netscape Navigator (NS). BrowserSizer has two interfaces to control the size of each browser: Through the BrowserSizer's main window or through BrowserSizer's Tray Icon.
Controlling Browsers from BrowserSizer's Window
To control IE or NS with BrowserSizer, you must first select either browser by clicking on the appropriate tabs.
Clicking on one of BrowserSizer's size buttons will then resize the current browser to the selected resolution. The result size will show how your web pages will be viewed at the selected resolution as if the browser was full-screened on your viewers desktop.
You may also specify that the browser will resize relative to the Windows 95/NT4 taskbar being displayed horizontally or vertically or if the Microsoft Office taskbar is on your viewers desktop.
Controlling Browsers from BrowserSizer's Tray Icon
Use the BrowserSizer Tray icon to control browsers while BrowserSizer is hidden. When you right-click on the tray icon, the
Tray Pop-up
menu appears. From this pop-up menu, you may switch the active browser between Netscape and Internet Explorer and resize either by selecting the wanted size.
Hide BrowserSizer
Running BrowserSizer hidden is the most usefull way of working with BrowserSizer. When BrowserSizer is hidden and available from the System Tray you can change browser selection and size the browser from BrowserSizer's
Tray Popup
menu.
You can hide BrowserSizer by double-clicking on BrowserSizer's Tray icon. This will alternate the main window between visible and hidden.
