Activator panel

The Activator is a simple utility that sets up Windows 95 to work with any installed Rage 3D game pads. After you connect one or more Rage gamepads to your computer, run the Activator and just click on the Activate button. You will be brought back to the Windows desktop immediately after the Activator has done its job.
! You don't need to go into the Windows Joystick Control Panel to set up one or multiple Rage 3D game pads; the Activator does this work for you.
You may verify operation of all connected Rage game pads in the Activator panel (the image above shows two connected Rage 3D game pads). Press a button on a game pad and the appropriate player position in a corner of the Activator panel will become active. In the large central Rage graphic, an animated display shows D-pad movement, and each button lights up when pressed. Moving the 2D/3D mode switch on the game pad will allow testing the D-pad in each mode.

To test another game pad (if more than one Rage game pad is installed), leave the other controls alone and press a button on the new game pad until it becomes the active control in the Activator panel.

If the Activator panel shows Not Connected in all four corners of the panel , check the cable connections to the installed Rage 3D game pads and try the Activator again.

! If you ever add or remove Rage 3D pads in your setup, re-run the Activator. The Activator may not behave as designed if you manually change the Rage configurations under the Windows Joystick Control Panel and then re-run the Activator.
