Thanks for trying QuickSwitch, the fastest way to get around on your Palm OS device!

 

The basics of QuickSwitch are simple. You can assign multiple applications to each of the four hardware buttons located below the touchscreen. Tapping the button will cycle through all of the applications assigned to it. You can also tap and hold on the button to popup a menu of all assigned applications.

 

After installing QuickSwitch, you'll want to configure your buttons. From the launcher, tap the QuickSwitch icon () to launch the application. You'll see the main screen appear:

Each button is listed, and below the button's name is a list of the applications assigned to that button. To configure a particular button, tap it's icon, and you'll be taken to the Button Details screen:

Here is the same list of applications assigned to the button. To add an application to the list, tap the button:

A list of all the applications installed on your Palm OS device will appear. Tap on one to add it to the current button.

Here, three applications have been assigned to the Date Book button. To remove an application, tap on it in the list, and a popup will appear:

Tap "Remove Application..." to remove it from the button. You can tap the other two options to move it around in the list. In addition, you can tap and drag an application to reorder it:

After you've added your applications, exit QuickSwitch (by tapping on the Home icon, ) press the button you just edited. You will be taken to the first application in the list. Press again, and you'll jump to the next. Keep pressing, and you'll cycle through each application in turn, until you return to the first. To jump to a particular application quickly, press and hold on the button, and a popup menu will appear allowing you to select a particular application to jump to:

If you'd like to add the current application to the button, select "Add This App to the List", and the next time you cycle through, the current application will be available.
