Piecing Ideas for Louisana Block

Louisana Block is in the Quarter Folder. The blocks in the Quarter Folder are actually one quarter sections (or parts) of the complete block. You will need to print four quarters to make the block. Below, you will find piecing ideas for Louisana Block.

General Instructions: To sew these blocks, sew each part separately. Treat each part as a separate "mini" block. Be sure to trim the seam allowance on each part. Once all the parts are sewn, you are ready to sew the parts together. Note: The sewn foundation will be a mirror image of the block above. To create the blocks exactly as seen below, you will need to select the mirror image option when you print the foundations.

Note: You will need to sew the individual foundations before you assemble the sections. Click Here for instructions on how to sew foundations.
