With Invoice2 you can also manage your customers. Select the "Customers" tab in the main window to open the customers view. In the customers view you can see a list of your customers on the left side and the documents owned by the selected customers in the document list. This will give you an overview of all invoices and quotations you wrote to your customers.

Add Customers

You can add customers in two different ways.

  1. Import a customer from the Address Book

  2. Add a new customer by entering new customer data

Click the plus button on the right bottom corner in customers views and select select the desired way from the context menu.

Invoice2 marks the imported customers so that you can not import the same customer twice. If you try to import an existing customer, Invoice2 will select the imported customer to show you that the customer was imported before instead of importing again.

You can store following informations for a customer in Invoice2

  1. Personal data: Name, tel., fax, email, ...

  2. Billing address

  3. Bank data

  4. Five custom fields

When adding a new customer you can first enter the important fields like name and address. After adding a customer you ca nswitch to the detailed view to enter some additional informations like custom fields and bank data.

Each customer has a customer number which will be generated in a given format. You can set the format in the preferences.
