About offline browsing

You can browse Web pages when your computer is not connected to the Internet by making the pages available offline. To make a Web page available offline, you subscribe to the page and then download the page to your computer. You can specify how much content, such as linked pages and picture files, you want to download. If you click a link to a page that you chose not to download and therefore isn’t available offline, you can have Internet Explorer automatically connect to the Internet, so you can view the page from the Web.

After you make a Web page available offline, Microsoft Internet Explorer adds the page to your Favorites list so you can easily view the page later.
