Task window

 

This is the main window that appears when you open Doublet Scan. This window is where the program carries out its work.

You can open as many windows as you want, limited only by the memory you have assigned Doublet Scan.

 


Load... button

This is the first button that you must select to begin work.

You can also use Drag & Drop to fill the list to scan


Exclude from Scan button

Choose this button if you want to customize the list to scan


Scan for... button

Choose this button if you want to make a scan of the list to scan


Move to... button

Choose this button if you want to move the items found.


Bullet #1: Filters

These are the filters that you can apply to customize the scan.


Bullet #2: Label

The label is assigned progressively from Doublet Scan when you load a directory.

The label doesn't remain in the Finder but is only internal to Doublet Scan.

This is useful for quickly locating a file's original directory.

You can sort by label simply by clicking on the label to sort.


Tab list

List to Scan: this is the list that you have loaded to perform a scan

Object' s found list: this is the list of the found items after you have made the scan.

The name changes according to the type of the scan you have made.


Header buttons

Click on these buttons if you want to sort by the name of the given header.

The first time that you click on the "Kind" header you'll see a message that says: "Collecting kind information".


Bullet #3: Placard

If you click on this placard a window will appear named "Show line" where you can see the hidden lines.


Bullet #4: Separator line

If you drag this separator line you can reshape the lists above and below it.


Bullet# 5: Path list

This list shows the route of the items location.
