Confirm fixing preference file
To have DragThing ask if you want to fix the preferences file every time it finds a problem, check this box.
If this box is not checked, DragThing will fix the file automatically.
Run AppleScript files when opening
To run AppleScript files when opening them, check this box.
When this box is unchecked, the scripts will be opened in an editor instead.
Allow AppleScript to run in background
To stop DragThing from automatically coming to the front when you execute a script in a dock, check this box.
Live dock resizing in options windows
To allow the controls in the Dock Options window to dynamically resize the dock, check this box.
If you have a slow machine, you might want to uncheck this box.
Process Dock sends "re-open" AppleEvent
To cause some applications to open a new untitled window when you switch to them using the Process Dock, check this box.
When this option is active, the Process Dock behaves just like the Mac OS X Dock.
Disable layer tab double-click to open options
To stop opening the Layer Options window when you double-click the corresponding tab in a dock, check this box.
Disable Command-Q to quit DragThing
To stop the Command-Q key combination from quitting DragThing, check this box.
This is useful to stop accidentally quitting DragThing.
Disable Command-N to make new docks
To stop the Command-N key combination from creating a new dock, check this box.
Quit if another copy is already running
To make DragThing quit automatically at startup when there is another copy running, check this box.
This is useful if you have DragThing set to open at startup on Mac OS 9, but you don't want that copy running when you start Classic under Mac OS X.
Only hide when switching using DragThing
To make DragThing only hide other applications when you switch to them using the DragThing process dock, check this box.
This affects the behaviour of the "Hide other applications when switching" option which normally hides applications regardless of how you switch.
Bring applications to the front before quitting them
To make DragThing bring other applications to the front before it tries to quit them, check this box.
If an application needs to ask you to save documents or otherwise interact before it quits, this option avoids the extra step of having to switch to it.
Enable "Super Get Info" Support
To use the shareware "Super Get Info" utility by Bare Bones Software to handle opening Get Info windows for DragThing items, check this box.

Enable Unicode Support
To use Unicode text drawing and editing throughout DragThing, check this box.
This allows DragThing to support long filenames that can contain multiple languages, but it may be slightly slower and use more memory. On Mac OS X, this also controls whether the text in DragThing is anti-aliased.
Enable Quartz Support
To use Quartz drawing throughout DragThing, check this box.
This allows DragThing to draw using translucency for an improved Aqua appearance on Mac OS 10.1 or later. It may be slightly slower however, so you can always turn it off.
Highlight Classic applications in docks.
To indicate any Classic-only applications in your docks, check this box.
This is useful for quickly seeing how many applications you are using which are not yet native for Mac OS X, and to avoiding starting up Classic accidently by opening one of them.
This option is only available on Mac OS X.
Reset window positions
To set all options windows back to their default positions onscreen, click this button.
