New XML Document |
Clicking on the document icon creates a new XML document. Clicking on the arrow
displays a drop down menu where you can select a new XML, XSL, DTD, HTML, CSS, or
text document, based on their respective default templates.
You can also create a new XMLwriter project from the drop down menu. |

Open File |
Displays the Open dialogue box, where existing files can be opened. |
 |
Open Project |
Displays the Open Project dialogue box, where an existing project can be opened. |
 |
Open URL |
Displays the Open URL dialogue box, where a URL can be entered. If the URL is
successfully located, the source text of that URL is opened in a new document window,
ready for editing. |
 |
Save |
Saves the active document with its current filename, location and file format.
If it is a new document, the Save As dialogue box will be displayed. |

Save All |
Saves all open documents with their current filenames, locations and file
formats. If any of the open documents are new, the Save As dialogue box will
be displayed. |

Cut |
Removes the selection from the active document and places it on the Clipboard. |
 |
Copy |
Copies the selection to the Clipboard. |
 |
Paste |
Inserts the contents of the Clipboard at the current cursor position, or replaces
the selection. |

Print |
Displays the Print dialogue box. Click OK to print the active document or
selection. |
 |
Undo |
Reverses the last command or deletes the last entry you typed. Clicking on the
arrow displays a drop down menu with the last ten user actions. All actions from
startup can be reversed. |

Redo |
Reverses the action of the Undo command. Clicking on the arrow displays a drop down
menu with the last ten reversed Undo actions. All Undo actions from startup can be
reversed. |

Find |
Displays the Find dialogue box, where a string of text can be entered. Click Find
Next to search the active document for the specified string. |

Find Text |
Allows you to enter a string of text (uses Auto-Complete if the string has been
entered previously). Press Enter to search the active document
for the specified string. Clicking on the arrow displays a drop-down list box of
recently entered strings of text. Selecting text from the drop-down list automatically
executes a search. |

Replace |
Displays the Replace dialogue box. The string you wish to replace in the active
document should be entered into the "Find what:" text box, and the string you
wish to replace it with should be entered into the "Replace with:" text box. |

What's This? |
Activates What's This? help. Click What's This?, then click anywhere in the
program to display a pop-up window describing its function. |
