How to Display Text, an Icon, or Both on a Toolbar

1 On the View menu, click Customize.

2 The Customize dialogue box is displayed.

3 On the toolbar in the main window, right-click on the button you want to edit.

4 Click on the Button Appearance context menu item.

5 The Button Appearance dialogue box is displayed.

6 To display text, select Text only. To display an icon, select Image only. To display both, select Image and text.

7 Click OK on the Button Appearance dialogue box.

8 Click Close on the Customize dialogue box to return to text editing mode.


Note: When Text Only or Image and text are selected in the Button Appearance dialogue box, the Button text box becomes active. Here, you can enter your own text to display on the toolbar.
