RSHUT Pro - Corporate License
Corporate license was designed for medium and large networks.
RSHUT Pro in a network consist of 2 parts - server and client(s).
Server is a computer that can operate clients and itself, clients can
operate itself only (optionally, may be specified in options) and listen
for remote commands from server.
The major goal of using RSHUT Pro on the network it that you can operate different
Windows. For example, you can use RSHUT Pro server on Windows NT to reboot Windows 98 RSHUT Pro clients.
You can specify to use password to reach two goals: 1st, to disable users on the
client workstations access local RSHUT Pro options, and 2nd, to ensure that nobody but you
(or someone else who know the password) can operate the clients.
RSHUT Pro always runs secure on the workstations. It does mean that it is not possible to close
or disable RSHUT Pro execution that protected by password. On the workstations running
Windows 95/98/ME RSHUT Pro is not visible in the list of programs when pressed Ctrl-Alt-Del,
On Windows NT/W2K or XP RSHUT Pro runs in context of system, so nobody without administrative
rights can end RSHUT Pro task. Also, on the worstations with Windows 95/98/ME you can use
other our software WinDefender and
RESTrick to setup and secure these systems according you policy.
You can operate remote computers manually or with the help on built-in advanced scheduler.
You'll can join comuters into groups (herewith one computer may be member of some group) and
assign shutdown events for each group based on day of week and time. Each group may be assigned
any number of shutdown records.
To reboot remote computers manually do the following - in the computers list enter list of the computers separated
with comma, select shutdown option, and optionally message to be displayed for users.
Also you can enable to log messages to see commands execution history on local and remote computers.
LICENSING POLICY:
To use RSHUT Pro corporate licenses it is necessary to purchase commercial licenses.
Corporate license includes the following:
corporate server license + required number of client licenses.
The cost of the server license is the same as a for client license (see also discount level on
order page). Herewith you can install several servers along
with clients on the network. But the total number of installations (servers and clients)
should not exceed number of purchased client licenses (including server license).
NOTE: If you have very large network you can be interested in purchasing unlimited site license.
This license have no restrictions on the running copies of RSHUT Pro on the network.
