This tutorial will show you how combine 5 individual pictures to create one panoramic image. The tutorial uses the images located in the Samples/Scenery album. To print this tutorial, click the Print button on the help window.
The tasks you will perform in this tutorial are:
Selecting the images used to create the panorama.
Sorting the images in the Image View window.
Opening the Panorama window.
Configuring the settings.
Creating the panorama.
Cropping the image.
On the Browse tab, navigate to the samples album located in C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Photo Album\ Samples\Scenery.
The images that we are using in this tutorial are named Panorama 001 - Panorama 005. Let's sort the images by name before we select them. Choose View > Sort Thumbnails > By Name.
To select the images, press and hold the Shift key, and then click the first image titled Panorama 001, and then click the last image Panorama 005.
To open the Panorama window,
click the Panorama button on the
toolbar.
Because the images were sorted before we opened the Panorama window
the images are already placed
in the proper order. If the images were not in order, we could click and
drag the images to the proper position.
Now lets adjust the output size. Click the Settings button on the side of the Panorama window to open a context menu. Choose Output Size > Small Output.
To merge the images to create the panorama, click the Create button. A progress bar displays at the bottom of the window. When the images are merged, the panorama displays the recommended crop window.
Click the Crop button on the toolbar to crop the image. The panorama should look like this:
