Changing Labels

The Text group box is used to define the printing labels for the page header (the space at the top of the page), page footer (the space at the bottom of the page), and image labels.

Note

To print or edit labels, make sure the check box is marked next to the label that you want printed for the images.

To change the page header label:

  1. On the Adjustments tab, click the Page Header button to open the Change Print Text dialog.

  2. On the Change Print Text dialog, Click in the field where you want to add special characters, and then click the Add Text button to select the special character.

For example, if you want the date the image was printed, centered in the header, click in the Center field, and then select or type %D.

  1. To change the text font, click the Change Font button to open the Font dialog and make changes to the font type, style, size, effects, and color. Click OK to apply the font changes.

  2. Mark the Save As Default check box to save these settings as your default.

  3. Click OK to apply the changes to the page header.

To change the page footer label:

  1. On the Adjustments tab, click the Page Footer button to open the Change Print Text dialog.

  2. On the Change Print Text dialog, Click in the field where you want to add special characters, and then click the Add Text button to select the special character.

For example, if you want the date the image was printed, centered in the footer, click in the Center field, and then select or type %D.

  1. To change the text font, click the Change Font button to open the Font dialog and make changes to the font type, style, size, effects, and color. Click OK to apply the font changes.

  2. Mark the Save As Default check box to save these settings as your default.

  3. Click the OK button to apply the changes to the page header.

To change image labels:

  1. On the Adjustments tab, click the Image Caption button to open the Change Print Text dialog.

  2. On the Change Print Text dialog, Click in the field where you want to add special characters, and then click the Add Text button to select the special character.

For example, if you want the date the image was printed, centered in the Image Caption, click in the Center field, and then select or type %D.

  1. To change the text font, click the Change Font button to open the Font dialog and make changes to the font type, style, size, effects, and color. Click OK to apply the font changes.

  2. From the Placement drop-down list, choose where the image label should display:

  4. Display Label Below Image - Small

  5. Display Label Below Image - Medium

  6. Display Label Below Image - Large

  1. Mark the Save As Default check box to save these settings as your default.

  2. Click OK to apply the changes to the page header.
