Adding a Picture Frame to an Image

Simulate the look of a framed image by adding a picture frame to an image.

To add a picture frame to an image:

  1. On the Browse tab, click the album to display thumbnail views of the images in the album in the Album View window.

  2. In the Album View window, double-click an image to open it in the Image View window.

  3. Choose Effects > Add Picture Frame to open the Add Picture Frame dialog.

  4. Use the scroll bar on the right to view all of the picture frames.

  5. Click a picture frame to preview the image with the frame on the right side of the dialog.

  6. Choose an option:

  1. Click OK to apply the picture frame to the image.

  2. Save the image with a new file name. If you want to retain the original image, save the image containing the frame with a new file name. For information about saving an image with a new name, see Saving Images.

Use Paint Shop Pro to create your own picture frames. Save the frames you create with a PSP Frame extension in the C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Photo Album\Frames directory.
