Adding an Edges Effect

Enhances the edges of the image and adjusts the background color bias.

To add an edges effect:

  1. On the Browse tab, click the album to display thumbnail views of the images in the album in the Album View window.

  2. In the Album View window, double-click an image to open it in the Image View window.

  3. Choose Effects > Special Effects to open the Special Effects dia­log, and then click the Edges tab.

  4. In the Strength of Effect group box, drag the slider to select the intensity of the effect.

  5. In the Background Color Bias group box, drag the slider to change background color of the image.

  6. Click the Apply button to add the effect to the original image.

  7. Click the OK button to close the Special Effects dialog.
