The Photo Edge effect adds interest to an image by adding an interesting edge around an image.
To add a photo edge effect to an image:
On the Browse tab, click the album to display thumbnail views of the images in the album in the Album View window.
In the Album View window, double-click an image to open it in the Image View window.
Choose Effects > Add Photo Edge to open the Add Photo Edge dialog.
Use the scroll bar on the right to view all of the photo edges.
Click a photo edge to preview the image with the photo edge effect on the right side of the dialog.
Choose an option:
Over the image Places the photo edge on top of the image, covering the edges of the image.
Around the image Places the photo edge around the edges of the image, retaining all of the original photo and enlarging the image.
Click OK to apply the photo edge to the image.
Save the image with a new file name.
