Proxy Panel
- iGetter uses Internet Config
configurations for Proxy settings. The authentication for Socks Firewall 4.0/5.0
and HTTP proxies is in addition to the Internet Config settings. If you leave
these fields blank, iGetter will not authenticate you to the corresponding
Proxy.
- If you have included an
FTP Proxy User Name/Password in Internet Config, iGetter will use 'User after
logon' authentication method. Otherwise, iGetter will use the 'User without
logon' method.
If the FTP proxy returns an authentication error, you should ask the server
administrator to enable one of these authentication methods.
- iGetter uses Basic HTTP
Authentication. If an authentication error occurs you should ask the server
administrator to enable Basic authentication for you.
- If the FTP Proxy port is
the same as the HTTP Proxy port, iGetter will use the HTTP Proxy for requests.
