Status
of downloads.
- The status of every download
is shown in the Main Window in the column Status. There are five possibilities
for every download: In Progress, Paused (by the user), Pending, Waiting and
Finished.
- In Progress
- during a download a progress bar appears in the Main and File Detail
Windows with the percentage of the download in progress.
- Paused - this
status means that the user has paused the download. Paused downloads will
not be included in automatic downloading.
- Pending - this
is a download state when a file is added to the queue without forcing.
Downloads in this state can be downloaded with the automatic downloading
function.
- Waiting - the
download goes into this state when it is waiting to connect or for the
next try to resume. See more about timeouts in Connection
Preferences.
- Finished - this
state means that iGetter has successfully downloaded your file. To reach
the real file you can use Reveal in Finder
function. To clear the queue of downloaded files check 'On
quit clear queue of finished' in the General tab in Preferences.
- There
are explicit details for every download shown in a separate window called
File Status Details. This window shows the status of downloads
in more detail than the Main Window information. You can open this window
by double clicking a selected file or from the contextual menu when selecting
the file, or by choosing File Status Details in the Downloads menu.
- You can see the rate
status of every download on the Finder icon of the downloading file.
Also you can force this download by double clicking its icon in the Finder.
This will cause iGetter to launch itself and force this download.
