Agent Job File cleaning
Agent Job File is a good example how can Cleaning Agent work. As you should know, Job File keeps record of previously performed cleanings. This means, that when the the option of saving the Job File is on, Agent Job File gets larger and larger after each cleaning. There's a room for a neat trick. Add Agent Job File (resides in the same folder as Cleaning Agent application) to the Cleaning Agent's list. Configure its cleaning settings so that the Job File would be cleaned when it exceeds 50KB in size. Now, Agent Job File will never occupy more than 50KB on your disk.
Rebuilding desktop files (MacOS only)
Desktop file is together with PRAM (Parametric RAM) cause of most "standard" problems on Macs. That's why Apple recommends to rebuild the desktop once a month - and Apple knows what it says. One way is to keep <Command> and <Option> keys pressed when Finder starts up. But it is possible for Cleaning Agent to rebuild the desktop for you.
Cleaning Agent rebuilds the desktop the most efficient and the most natural way. It trashes invisible desktop files and forces Finder to create new ones next time your computer starts up. But, this way all Finder comments (as seen in Get Info window) will be lost permanently. Do not use Cleaning Agent for desktop rebuilding if you don't want to lose Finder comments of your files and folders!
