Image <IMG src=" ">

This command lets you insert an image in a document.

Place your cursor at the spot where you want to insert the image.
In the Images tab, click on the Insert an Image button.
You can also use SHIFT + ALT + I (See the List of Shortcut Keys).
In the Image zone, enter the name and access path of the image file. The file must be in GIF or JPG format.

You can also use the Open button to search AceHTML Explorer or your image folders for an image to insert in the document. Or, choose an image in GOgraph by clicking on the button Insert an Image with GOgraph.
You can view the selected image in the Sketch window.

Define the image properties and attributes.
Click on OK.

Inserting an image from the Windows desktop

1. Click on the image to insert.
The image file can be on the Windows desktop or in a Windows Explorer window.

2. Drag the file to the desired spot in the Edit window.

This tag's properties can be modified.

Image dialog box options

Alternative	You can enter text describing the image in this zone. If the browser cannot display the image, or the transfer is interrupted, this text will appear. This attribute can also be used to display a help balloon (when the mouse cursor is positioned over the spot in question). This option lets you add the attribute ALT to the element IMG.
Alignment	At the bottom, in the middle, or at the top The button lets you determine how the image will be aligned. You can change the alignment, opting for either the top or bottom. The default value is the bottom. This will add the attribute ALIGN="TOP" or "MIDDLE" to the element IMG. Alignment options are found in the second section of the dropdown list. Left Align lets you align your image to the left of the page. Right Align Lets you align your image to the right. These options will add the attribute ALIGN="LEFT" or "RIGHT" to the element IMG. Texttop lets you align the image with the topmost text in the text line. Baseline lets you align the image with the lowest text. These options will add the attribute ALIGN="TEXTTOP" or "BASELINE" to the element IMG. ABS Middle and ABS Bottom let you modify the image's alignment so that it is in the middle or at the bottom of the text line. These options will add the attribute ALIGN="ABSMIDDLE" or "ABSBOTTOM" to the element IMG.
Image Properties
Border	This attribute lets you add or remove a border. The default value, in pixels, is 0. This option lets you add the attribute BORDER to the element IMG.
Width	This attribute lets you change the width of the image, as it will appear in your document. Its value is expressed in pixels. This option modifies the value of the attribute WIDTH.
Height	This attribute lets you change the height of the image, as it will appear in your document. Its value is expressed in pixels. This option modifies the value of the attribute HEIGHT.
Proportioned	Check this box to obtain a proportioned image.
VSpace	This attribute lets you add a vertical margin around the image. Its value is expressed in pixels. This option lets you add the attribute VSPACE to the element IMG.
HSpace	This attribute lets you add an horizontal margin around the image. Its value is expressed in pixels. This option lets you add the attribute HSPACE to the element IMG.
Extension	The button Video and VRML extensions let you insert a video sequence (AVI format) or VRML file in your document. Clicking on the button will open the Video and VRML extensions menu.
Internet Link	Lets you immediately attribute a hyperlink to the image.
