DHCP
You have just clicked the graphic
representing the DHCP server. When you install DHCP, you are configuring a
Windows NT/2000 DHCP service by assigning an IP address to the control server.
When agents are installed on servers on the network, each agent looks for the
IP address of the control server so it can establish communication and send
requested detailed server information to the database for viewing in the web
console.
You can install DHCP on the same machine
as the web server.
