Ignored Folders

Options Junk Files / Ignored Folders page indicates which folders must be ignored by the System Cleaner's Disk Cleaner during its sessions as it's too risky to delete files from them. These are mostly Windows system folders and service folders of some widespread programs.

The page offers a default list of Ignored Folders. Make sure that there is a check mark next to those you want to be ignored by Disk Cleaner; remove the mark next to those you are sure must be processed (please do this after a thorough consideration).

You can use the buttons under the list to add new Ignored Folders, modify existing ones or delete them. The wild characters * and ? can be used to define a set of folder names. Please note that you don't have to delete a folder just to exclude it from the list of Ignored ones; instead, you can simply remove the check mark from the box next to it.

The button Default restores System Cleaner's default settings for this feature, including recovery of the items deleted by you and deletion of the ones added by you.
