Why Obfuscate?
A recent study concluded that 97% of spam (a.k.a.
UCE) is due to email addresses posted to web pages. Spambots can’t read emails encoded in
Unicode, but web browsers and email programs handle encoded addresses just fine, thank you.
By the way, that’s not
Spam™ on the front. It’s generic, processed meat product.
