After inserting the disc in the active CD/DVD Device, it must be scanned before selecting the files to process.
This scanning starts after pressing the "Scan CD" button. If you insert a new disc or you want to repeat the scanning, press the "Scan CD" button to retrieve again all the disc information.
After the scanning, a dialog will appear showing the number of files found.
You can control the way the disc is scanned with these controls:
Scan mode
This setting controls the way the CD/DVD disc is scanned. In full mode, all CD/DVD disc is scanned, it could take some time depending on the CD/DVD disc. In Normal mode only selected parts are scanned. If no files are retrieved in normal mode, or the files you want are not retrieved, use full mode. In Auto Mode, the program selects the correct mode.
Retrieve All or Checked only file types
Here you can configure the way the disc will be scanned, depending on the file types recorded in the disc.
by pressing the button config you can select the file types recorded in the disc, the select file types dialog will appear:
Here you can select one or selveral kind of files, for instance, if you have recorded AVI video files and JPG images just select Video and Graphic files.
If the Checked button is selected, only the selected file types will be scanned, if the All Files button is selected all file types will be scanned:
