Managing Image, Movie and Sound Files Using Media Frames When you add an image, movie, or sound file to an outline, NoteBook places it into a “Media Frame.” A Media Frame is a box within a cell that lets you work with a media file in special ways.

The cell’s text flows around the Media Frame ➊.
Customize an image with special borders, drop shadows, rotation and scaling ➋.
Movies and audio clips appear with a standard playback control strip.
 | Click a Media Frame to modify it.
 | The tool palette ➌ lets you change the Media Frame’s rotation, alignment, and anti-aliasing settings, or show the Media Frame Inspector.
Drag a knob ➍ to scale, or Option-drag to rotate.
 | You can modify other Media Frame attributes, such as the photo corners and drop shadow, using the Media Frame Inspector. If you ever need to place the media file “inline,” within the cell’s text, choose Cell → Remove Media Frame. Images you place inline cannot be scaled, resized or rotated. Open the Media Frame Inspector for me.
