How to Change Editing Colors
By default, editing text is black and the background is white. But it doesnŐt have to be.
If youŐre using a Movable-Type-compatible weblog, you can even set different text and background colors for each of the body, extended, excerpt, and keywords text views. (This helps distinguish which one is current at a glance.)
- Choose PreferencesÉ from the MarsEdit menu.
- If the Editing tab isnŐt selected, click it.
- In the Color for: popup menu, choose the element whose color you want to set.
- The color well on the right will display the color for the selected element. Click the color well to open a standard color-chooser window.
