Enable Current Application Copy/Paste

When checked, clicking a Clipping Out button will paste to the current application after copying the clipping bin contents to the Clipboard. Similarly, clicking a Clipping In button will copy from the current application to the Clipboard before pasting to the clipping bin. You can press the Option key while clicking the buttons to avoid copying or pasting from or to the current application. When not checked, clicking a Clipping Out button simply copies the clipping bin contents to the Clipboard, while clicking a Clipping In button pastes the Clipboard contents to the clipping bin.

Dropping or pasting a file into a clipping bin

These radio buttons allow you to choose what happens when you drag & drop or copy & paste a file into a clipping bin. You can choose to either have iClip try to copy the file contents to the clipping bin or have it store an alias to the file in the bin. When dragging & dropping files, holding down the Option key always has iClip try to copy the file contents, while holding down the Command and Option keys always has iClip store an alias to the file.

Record Clipboard changes

When checked, iClip automatically records everything copied to the Clipboard to the special Clipboard Recorder clipping set. You can also choose whether new clippings automatically stored in the Clipboard Recorder are added either at the start or the end of the clipping set. Please note that unchecking the checkbox will cause you to lose whatever’s currently in the Clipboard Recorder.

iClip Window Transparency

This slider is used to change the transparency level of the iClip window. Making the window transparent can be useful for allowing you to see what’s behind it.
