You can change the time signature of the sequence with this popup.

(6) Fast Forward  [→]
Forwards by the value of selected timing.
+ [⌘] : Next event on the track.
+ [option] : Next beat.
+ [ctrl] : Next measure.
+ [shift] : Move to the last event on the track.

(7) Start  [space bar]
+ [shift] : Start from the top.
+ [ctrl] : Immediately start recording.
+ [ctrl] + [shift] : Start recording from the top.

(8) Stop [space bar]

(9) Rewind  [←]
Rewinds by the value of selected timing.
+ [⌘] : Previous event on the track.
+ [option] :
Previous beat.
+ [ctrl] :
Previous measure.
+ [shift] : Return to the top

(10) Overdub Button  [⌘D]
If this button lits green, the sequencer is in overdub mode.

(11) Record Button  [⌘R]
If this button lits red, the sequencer is in recording mode.

*If the sequencer is in recording mode and "Start Recording with Keydown" option checked, the sequencer will start recording with note on message

(12) Timing PopUp (Input Quantize)
Correct the timing of events on its input.
Select the minimum grid.  If you don't need, select "Off".  You can also quantize events after recording.
