ChronoSync Main

Quick Start
To set up a quick and easy synchronization, we will use what is known as a Simplified synchronization. This kind of synchronization consists of only the settings needed to perform a basic synchronization. Follow these steps to run a Simplified synchronization. You will be amazed at just how easy it is!
1 Launch ChronoSync. A synchronizer document will automatically open for you.
2 Enable the "Simplified Interface" checkbox in the bottom left corner of the synchronizer document. When you do this, you will notice that the Options, Rules, and Archive panels are no longer available. This is because, to do a simple synchronization, these settings are not needed. You basically just need to set up your targets and synchronize them!
3 Choose your targets. This is done by clicking the respective "Choose..." button for each of the targets. This will drop down a file selection sheet for you to choose the respective folder you wish to include in the synchronization.
4 To synchronize from one location to another, use a "Left-to-right" or a "Right-to-left" direction. If you want to truly synchronize two locations, choose "Bidirectional". The direction that you define for your synchronization is the direction that the files will be copied.
5 If you wish, go to the Analyze panel to view the files and folders that you have set up to be synchronized. To get there, choose the "Analyze" button on the sidebar. This panel provides you with a graphical representation of what files are to be synchronized.
6 If everything looks OK then choose the Synchronize button in the toolbar. When this is done, a progress sheet will appear so that you may view the progress of the synchronization.
