First of all would advise that you get yourself a Torx 6 screw driver.
The screws use for the C12 are not of a regular type they are call torx screws.
You can pick up a torx screw driver at Maplin electronics. [maplin web site.]
Or try RS at  R.S web site. They are about five pounds. You could try locally but it may be a bit hard to find one. Failing that you could use a flat headed screw driver but you may have to file down the edge to make it fit correctly.

Next is wire. I advise very thin wire, I use a wire called Kynar Insulated 30AWG from RS.
Stock Number 209-4833.
I cut the wire to a good long length, more than I need, then I use the insulation of a thicker
form of wire i.e. alarm cable, these are coloured so I take four different colours and feed them
over the thin wire. [See picture below.] This allows you to keep track of each wire and where it goes.

Next is insulation tape. Any type will do but the thinner the better because there is not much
room inside the phone.

You will also need a soldering iron [need I really state this!]. I good temperature controlled iron with a thin tip is great. And that leaves us with just a few other stuff like a knife or cutters and pliers etc., but I don't think I need to go into this. 1
