WinMLS 2000 is sound-card based software for high quality audio, acoustics and vibrational measurements. The fact that it is sound-card based, makes it possible for you to select between a large and growing number of hardware solutions.
WinMLS 2000 already has hundreds of professional users, but is also aimed at non-commercial users, such as home audiophile enthusiasts and students. This is possible because of its ease of use, low-cost personal license and no need for specialized hardware.

1. Optional after the installation: Unzip the update to the folder where WinMLS is installed.
   Note: When filling in the evaluation code form, inform that you want to evaluate ver. 1.02.
2. Optional: Install help file with improved navigation.
3. After starting the software, click the 'Try for free' button and follow the instructions to obtain the unlock code.
   

To measure a home theater or any sound system, go to Setup->Load... and select the setup named Sound System->Stereo and Surround.
To measure a sound system before a performance, go to Setup->Load... and select the setup named SoundSystem->Adjust Before Performance.
To measure a sound system during the performance, go to Setup->Load... and select the setup named SoundSystem->Source Independent (Live).
To measure impedance, go to Setup->Load... and select the setup named Loudspeaker->Impedance.
To measure loudspeaker frequency response, go to Setup->Load... and select the setup named Loudspeaker->Near Field.
To measure harmonic distortion, go to Setup->Load... and select the setup named Loudspeaker->Harmonic Distortion.
To measure STI/RASTI, go to Setup->Load... and select one of the setups in the Speech category.
To measure airborne sound reduction, go to Setup->Load... and select the setup named Insulation->Airborne.
To measure violin acoustics, go to Setup->Load... and select one of the setups in the Musical Acoustics category.
