Walking Tours
The publication Frankfurt Welcome (available from the tourist office for DM1.50) includes a self-guided tour of the city's main sights. Customised walking tours for groups may be booked through the tourist office.

Bus Tours
The tourist office organises daily tours in winter (November-March; departure 1400) and twice-daily tours in summer (April-October; departure 1000 and 1400). Both depart from the Tourist Info Römer and pick up passengers at Tourist Info Hauptbahnhof 15 minutes later. Tours last 2 hours 30 minutes, include a walk through the old town and visits to the Historisches Museum and Goëthe Haus, in summer also to the observation platform of the Main Tower, and cost DM44 (concessions available). The tourist office also offers customised group tours.

Tram Tours
A tram known as the Ebbelwei Express (tel: (069) 2132 2525) departs Saturday and Sunday every 40 minutes 1330-1720 from U-Bahn Bornheim Mitte through the city centre to Sachsenhausen. DM4 includes a small bottle of Äppelwoi and a pretzel.
