Further Distractions Necropolis It is worth a hike up the hill to see the Necropolis, (modelled on Paris's Père Lachaise cemetery) and to appreciate the view back over the city. Adjacent is Glasgow Cathedral, founded by the city's patron saint, St Kentigern, or Mungo, in the sixth century, and the St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art. Castle Street Tel: (0141) 287 3961.
