Seattle's Best Walking Tours (tel: (206) 226 7642) specialise in the Waterfront and Pike Place Market area. Underground Seattle, discovered by chance in the 1960s, is a street of subterranean storefronts from the late nineteenth century before the Pioneer Square area was elevated above the tide flats. A one-hour narrated tour of Seattle's harbour costs US$14, the three-hour Lake Washington Cruise costs US$18.50.
