Syntax
timeoutObject
.period
Description
Object property; the number of milliseconds between timeout events sent by the timeOutObject
to the timeout handler.
This property can be tested and set.
Example
This timeout handler decreases the timeout's period
by one second each time it's invoked, until a minimum period of 2 seconds (2000 milliseconds) is reached:
on handleTimeout timeoutObject if timeoutObject.period > 2000 then timeoutObject.period = timeoutObject.period - 1000 end if end handleTimeout
