startTimer
Syntax
startTimer
Description
Command; sets the timer
property to 0 and resets all the accumulating timers for the lastClick()
, lastEvent()
, lastKey
, and lastRoll
functions to 0.
If multiple timers are required, you must create and manage your own. These can be properties in a behavior, a global list, or even a parent script. Typically, you use the ticks
property to track time in this manner.
Example
This handler sets the timer to 0 when a key is pressed:
on keyDown startTimer end
