Version 0.1 Released 22nd December 1997
Read before continuing:
WARNING : GTAed could seriously render your installed copy of Grand Theft Auto unplayable, or unfunctional, as it edits files required by Grand Theft Auto. Therefor I strongly suggest you BACKUP the file "mission.ini" located in the "gtadata" sub directory of the Grand Theft Auto game directory.
DISCLAIMER : I accept no responsibility over that mentioned above and what may happen to your computer's hardware and software using my program(s) is at your own risk.

Introduction
This program is able to change certain files that Grand Theft Auto uses, to add/remove/repositon cars. I created it after everybody was asking for an editor, and although this does not edit the actual scenery itself, nor is it currently at a stage I am happy with, the game and be changed incredibly. Some knowledge of the game is helpful, yet little else is needed. This version (0.1) only allows editing the cars for the first level of the game, Liberty City : Gangsta Bang, so it can be used with the demos available as well as the full game.

Installation
After downloading the zip, extract all the files in to a temporary folder and run the setup program. REMEMBER: The program needs to be placed in the "gta\gtadata" folder for it to edit the mission.ini file.

How To Change Your First Car
First, do a search for your starting point in the game, "PLAYER". When this is found, there should be a line near by with "PARKED" in it. Notice how the co-ordinates (the (x,y,z) part) for the "PLAYER" and "PARKED" are very similar (105,119,4 for the "PLAYER"). Highlight the "PARKED", select a new car type e.g. Counthash, change the line and save it all. That's all there is to it, just run the game, start up the first Liberty City level and you should find you have a Counthash car to start off with.
