Description
With Web Confidential for Palm you can organize and save all your passwords, account names and user IDs, software keys, serial numbers, ATM and PIN codes etc. in one convenient place. You can then protect your data with very strong cryptography.
Web Confidential for Palm uses the Blowfish algorithm to protect your data. Your key can be up to 448 bits in length. Blowfish is fast and very secure.
Web Confidential for Palm requires a Palm OS compatible device with Palm OS version 2 or higher. It works on the Palm Pilot Personal and Professional, the entire Palm III series, including the new color Palm IIIc, the Palm V series and the Palm VII. It should also work on the Handspring Visor, the TGR Pro and the IBM WorkPad.
Macintosh and Microsoft Windows 98 versions are also available. Please check the Home Page for details.
With the Web Confidential Conduit you can HotSync with your desktop database. The Macintosh version of the Conduit is available now, the Windows 98 version is under development.
Web Confidential for Palm is shareware. If you continue using it, please pay the $20 fee.
Please read the How To Pay section below.

Shareware limits
To encourage you to pay the shareware fee, the unregistered version of Web Confidential for Palm has the following restriction:
After 30 days of use, you cannot add any new records to your files. However, you can still view and edit your existing data.
After you register the program, this restriction is removed. Also, the registered version can HotSync with your desktop database (Macintosh version available now, Windows 98 version under development). You will receive the Conduit after registration.

Please make sure you send the HotSync User Name exactly as shown, including capital and international characters, otherwise we will not be able to determine your registration key.

The most popular method of payment has become the Online Registration form. You must have a credit card to make use of this service. Just choose Register Online from the Help Menu in Web Confidential or from the Web Confidential shared icon menu in your Web Browser or type this URL in the location field of your Web Browser:
<http://order.kagi.com/?AB>
If you want to pay by credit card or check, but not want to use the Online Registration form, read the next paragraphs.
Paying for Web Confidential for Palm is fairly simple. Open the Register program that accompanies Web Confidential for Palm. Enter your name, your e-mail address, and your handheld user id (see the section "Handheld User ID" above). For Site or Word-Wide licenses contact the authors. Save or Copy or Print the data from the Register program and send the data and payment to Kagi Sales. More specifics on the Register program follow.
If paying with Credit Card or First Virtual, you can E-mail or fax the data to Kagi. Their E-mail address is <sales@kagi.com> and their fax number is +1 510 652-6589. You can either copy the data from Register and paste into the body of an E-mail message or you can save the data to a file and you can attach that file to an E-mail message. There is no need to compress the data file, it's already pretty small. If you have a fax modem, just print the data to the Kagi fax number.
Payments sent via e-mail are processed within 3 to 4 days. You will receive an E-mail acknowledgement when it is processed. Payments sent via fax take up to 10 days and if you provide a correct internet e-mail address you will receive an e-mail acknowledgement.
If you are paying with USD Cash or USD Check you should print the data using the Register application and send it to the address shown on the form, which is:
Kagi
1442-A Walnut Street #392-AB
Berkeley, California 94709-1405
USA
You can pay with a wide variety of cash from different countries but at present if you pay via check, it must be a check drawn in US Dollars. Kagi cannot accept checks in other currencies, the conversion rate for non-USD checks is around USD 15 per check and that is just not practical.
If you have a purchasing department, you can enter all the data into the Register program and then select Invoice as your payment method. Print three copies of the form and send it to your accounts payable people. You might want to highlight the line that mentions that they must include a copy of the form with their payment.
Kagi can not invoice your company, you need to act on my behalf and generate the invoice and handle all the paperwork on your end.
Payments send via postal mail take time to reach Kagi and then up to 10 days for processing. Again, if you include a correct e-mail address, you will hear from Kagi when the form is processed.
Protection
Web Confidential for Palm has a protection scheme and when you pay, we tell you how to indicate to Web Confidential for Palm that you have paid. If you do not have an E-mail address, please enter your complete postal address and please remember, we do not know what country you live in so please enter that into the postal address also.
