* A note about the
different Palm and Palm compatible handheld. GPS Pilot software runs on Palm OS
2 minimum.

PalmPilot = Personal, Professional; Palm
OS 2
Pilot = 1000, 5000; Palm OS 1, not
supported.

For GPS Pilot applications users: if you are already using GPS Pilot Atlas, Tracker, FlyingPilot: DO NOT load Points.PDB nor Maps.pdb, or you will overwrite your actual database.
Install the files Tracker.prc and MathLib.prc using the standard Palm install tool.
If you use a Palm device* install the files Palm maps.pdb (or Palm 3.3 maps.pdb, or Palm color maps.pdb) and Palm points.pdb.
For PalmPilot model*, install the file PalmPilot maps.pdb and PalmPilot points.pdb.
Set your Palm in its cradle and HotSync.
Select the Tracker icon on your Palm device. The map, on the first run, is centered around GPS Pilot headquarters in Sunnyvale California, USA, the heart of Silicon Valley...
If you have registered GPS Pilot Tracker, get the full size of Tracker by entering your registration code in the "About box" (selectable from the menu Option-About). Click on the Tracker icon to validate your code.
Zoom in and out with the hard scroll button, to get a different scale view. Indicators in the title line show if a new map is available; you can scroll using these indicators too.
Using your finger or the stylet, drag the maps to see surroundings and specific locations.
Re-center your map and get details on any location by clicking the icons on the map.
Click the center of the map, and choose the option "Center" to pick a location as new center...
Record a track by using the 2 buttons "Rec"(Record) and "P" (pause the recording). Drag the maps or record iun real time with a GPS connected. The black lines drawn on the map are the recorded track
Create points by pressing the hard Note button (rightmost).
Select the menu Track List, to choose or create other tracks.
Get navigational information (heading, the distance, and, if a GPS receiver is connected, the Estimated Time En route Ete) between your current position (the center point) and any destination point. Select a destination point by clicking on any points on the map, or click the current destination's name and replace it by another point from your databases.
Make sure to read the help available via the menu options-help in almost every screen of our Palm applications.
Plug your GPS device, and forget the paper maps headaches to look up where you are, or suppose to be and where you go or should be going. Enjoy traveling light and accurate with your Palm and GPS Pilot Tracker to co-pilot you.

Download and install our free world wide location databases.
Check out GPS Pilot Cartographer and import in your Palm free maps from the Internet, from CD ROM atlases or paper scanned and use them as digital gray scale or black&white maps.
Use Topographer to import/export locational data between your PC and your Palm.
