Check for New Mail
This will connect to the mail server and retrieve all new messages.
You can setup up an time interval in the Options Prefs
for mail check.
If you have setup any Filters and have turned on the Filters
option, Air Mail will apply the filters on all the new messages when it retrieves. A
filter report is displayed at the end of retrieval.
Mail Notification
You can also setup mail notifications in the Options Prefs
by assigning an IFF sound, speech, display dialog box or open the Inbox when there are new
or no message(s).
