System requirements.

SonM@il Plus only need to have installed in your PC a 32 bits Windows system, (it is compatible with Windows'95/98/NT), the email and news client Outlook Express (which is included in the versions 4.0 and 4.01 of Microsoft Internet Explorer, and in Windows'98) and, obviously, a SOUND CARD well configured and active...

IMPORTANT: The program is developed in Visual Basic 5.0. So, it needs, to be installed and run, the "runtime libraries" of VB5 installed in the system.

(NOTE: If you installed the "full version" of Internet Explorer 4.X or the WINDOWS'98, those "runtime libraries" will be already present in your system, because these programs include and install them. So, you may skip at all this question).

Otherwise, before of installing the program, you must VERIFY if these "runtime libraries" are installed in your computer. An easy way to do it is to search if the file named MSVBVM50.DLL is present in the "SYSTEM" folder of the Windows directory of your PC. (You may search it with the command "Start - Find - Files or Folders...").

IF YOU DO NOT FIND IT, you must install, as soon as possible (because you will need them to run ALL the Windows software developed in Visual Basic 5.0, as SonM@il Plus is) the named VB5 "runtime libraries". They are FREE and you may download them from Microsoft and a lot of Internet sites.

If you did not download these "runtime libraries" with the program, you may do it now from one of the following links:

  • From USA: Click HERE ( vb500a.zip - 1295 KB ).
  • From UK (London): Click HERE ( vb500a.zip - 1295 KB ).
  • From Spain: Click HERE ( vb500a.zip - 1295 KB ).

What is SonM@il Plus?

SonM@il Plus is an application which improves Outlook Express with wonderful sound features.
The installation of SonM@il Plus configures Outlook Express for supporting sound files of midi ( *.mid o *.rmi) and wave ( *.wav) formats, which may be selected (and recorded in the wave files case) with its Main Sound Selector.
The sounds (hidden inserted in the message body), are sent codified and played by opening, or just by selecting messages, if quick preview is enabled.
You may select any combination among three sound files:

  • One midi file (*.mid or *.rmi) played as background sound in continuous loop.
  • One wave file ( *.wav) played also as background sound (or voice) in continuous loop.
  • One voice message, in wave format ( *.wav), played once or in continuous loop, as you do prefer.
Usual multimedia compressed wave (*.wav) file types are supported.
Compression reduces size of files and, obviously, of sent messages. Compression, notwithstanding, reduces also sound quality in a variable grade and, of course, the recipient must have installed in their system the audio compression codecs for the type of compression used.
Either of the three sounds may be configured as "without sound" (i.e. they have not always to be played, but only when the user so decides).

Results are really spectacular, allowing to compose and send mail and news messages of a quality not offered until now (as far as we know) by no email client.

What is the use of SonM@il Plus?

SonM@il Plus is of use firstly to implement in Outlook Express the above described sound features.
The setup program performs this task in a totally automated way.
Then, when the program is run, a Main Sound Selector opens and you may select, in an easy and friendly way, the sound files to use, and also to record the voice message (if any) to be sent.

Description of SonM@il Plus :

When program is run, after the usual initial splash, the Main Sound Selector opens:

With the MAIN SOUND SELECTOR you can see the names of configured sounds, test them and select new sounds to configure.
The menu bar contains only the Help menu with two options: "Help contents" (this help) and "About SonM@il Plus".
The last option opens the "About..." window:
In the TRIAL VERSION, this window has a "Register Instructions" button which opens the Register Instructions page.

It shows the number of the version, a short description of the program, the name of the authorized User, and copyright and trademark data.
The "Accept" button opens again the
Main Sound Selector :
In the MAIN SOUND SELECTOR you can also open the "Sound recorder" of Windows, to record voice or musical messages, and access to the "Volume controls".

Three textboxes of white background present the names of sound files selected in every moment (which at program opening are replaced by the text "Last configured sound", remembering that the last selected files rest memorized and active).
Three "Play" buttons, at right, allow you testing selected sounds. Pushing them, the ActiveMovie console of Windows opens playing the configured sound.
You may use the console controls to pause, stop or replay it.
The three "Select"buttons allow to change every configured sound.
Pushing them the Sound File Selector opens:
The SOUND File Selector allows you to find and select the files which contain the sounds to be configured, and to open the "Multimedia player" of Windows for hearing any sound file you may have in your hard disk.

There, you may see a heading (which remembers the sound type you are selecting a file for) and the usual boxes in the sound selectors.
Under the text "Selected file:" the name of the file selected in that moment appears. If you has not selected none, the text of the box so indicates it: "None".

In this Sound File Selector
you may select a drive. Doing a double click over any of its folders, you may see the files of the wanted type that it contains (which will appear listed in the box at left).
If you double click the name of a file, it will be provisionally selected and will appear as "Selected file".
If, with a file selected, you doubleclick again over the name of other file, this last will replace the previous as provisionally selected file.

The button over the text Multimedia player allows you to open the "Multimedia player" of Windows, and test all the sound files saved in your hard disk.

If you push the Cancel button the selection is cancelled and you return to the window of the Main Sound Selector in the same situation that it was before.

If you push the "Accept" button without no file selected, the associated sound will be configured as "Without sound", i.e. no sound will be played and the memorized sounds of that type will be deleted.

Pushing the "Accept" button, the selected file in that moment will configure the sound type you are selecting and you will return to the Main Sound Selector.

There you will may see the file name in the associated textbox (but you may change it, as many times as you want, pushing again the "Select" button to repeat the procedure).

You may test its sound with the "Play" button as you may see in the image:

Use the "Play" buttons for testing the sounds configured and the "Sound recorder" and "Volume controls" buttons for opening these two accessories of Windows.

In it, you can see the name "starwars.mid" of the file configured as background MIDI sound and the ActiveMovie console of Windows playing the sound as a test.

Down, in the right corner, there are two other buttons.
Pushing the "Sound recorder" button, the "Sound recorder" of Windows opens, and you may record and edit sound files (of wave type) with it.
You may save those files with a name (in any folder). So you may select later them as configured sounds.
The "Volume controls" button opens a window allowing select and manage these controls.

Near the text "Repeat message", there is a checkbox that allows activate (or deactivate) the replay of the "Sound message" in continuous loop.

The "Cancel" button turns back all the selecting operations carried out since the program opening, and the situation of sounds configuration goes back to the previous one.

At last, after selection has finished, pushing "Accept", the sounds are definitively configured as selected and a new window opens with a message of SonM@il Plus reporting the result of the operations carried out:

The textbox in this window contains a summary of instructions for composing the sonorous messages. YOU MAY MAINTAIN IT OPENED, as a guide, while composing messages.

Under the main message you can see a textbox, with a vertical scrollbar, which contains a SUMMARY OF INSTRUCTIONS for composing a sonorous message with Outlook Express.
If you want so, this window may be maintained opened, as a guide, while composing the message.

Managing SonM@il Plus.

Using of SonM@il Plus is very easy.

SonM@il Plus works by mean of a series of special stationery, named SonM@il Plus [optional title].htm, which appear among those at user's disposition for composing a new message with Outlook Express, in HTML format.
These stationery named SonM@il Plus [optional title].htmcontain the sounds previously configured with the Main Sound Selector.

You only must begin composing a new message by selecting and opening one of these stationery and continue editing the message in normal way.

SonM@il Plus does not modify anything in Outlook Express. So, all its graphical and the rest of features are maintained.

While editing, the selected sounds are already played, as they will be heard when the message arrives.

To clear any doubt, we are going to detail the THREE STAGES of the procedure, which have been repeatedly mentioned in this help:

1) Selecting sounds:

The program is installed with some preconfigured sounds.
To change this sounds and select those you want to send, you must carry out the procedure that follows:

  1. RUN SonM@il Plus.
    The Main Sound Selector opens.
  2. In this Main Sound Selector PUSH the Select button associated with the sound to configure.
    TheSound Files Selector opens.
  3. In this Sound Files Selector SEARCH, in the drive and folder where it is saved, the sound file you want select.
  4. When the file has been found, doubleclick over its name in the file list.
  5. Be sure that its name appears as "Selected file".
  6. If, after selected, you want change it, doubleclick again over the new file you want select. Its name will replace the previously selected as "Selected file"
  7. When the selection has finished, push "Accept" or "Cancel", to confirm or undo the operation.
  8. Again in the Main Sound Selector and, after having tested (if you want) the configured sounds, push "Accept" or "Cancel", to confirm or undo the operation as a whole.
The configured sounds are memorized by the program and they may continue been used in further messages until a new sound configuration with the Main Sound Selector is carried out.

2) Recording a message:

If you want recording a voice or sound message, you may use the Sound recorder of Windows, which you may open from the Main Sound Selector, by pushing the button wit the title "Sound recorder".
The "Volume controls" button allows also to open these controls to set them correctly, so for reproduction as for recording.

To record a sound message you must carry out the following procedure:

  1. Plug the microphone in the sound card.
  2. Open the "Sound recorder".
  3. Open the "Volume controls for recording" and set them correctly.
  4. Record and edit the message, in the usual way.
  5. SAVE the recorded file, with a suitable name, IN ANY FOLDER.
  6. Close the "Sound recorder".
  7. NOTE: To send the recorded message by Email or publish it in a Newsgroup, you must SELECT IT later with the Main Sound Selectorand configure it as a "Sonorous message" to be used by Outlook Express.

3) Composing a sonorous message:

After configured the desired sounds, to compose and send a sonorous message, as an Email or to the "Newsgroups", you must use Outlook Express following these steps:

  1. OPEN Outlook Express.

  2. (PREVIOUS NOTE: The MIDI files contain information about the sound VOLUME LEVEL. This information determines the initial setting of the MIDI volume control when replaying the file. The sound VOLUME LEVEL is saved in the file WHEN THE NEW MESSAGE to be composed OPENS, and depends mainly of your MIDI VOLUME CONTROL setting JUST IN THAT MOMENT. So, if you want the sound to be replayed, since the first moment, with a fair volume level (without need of any volume control reset by the recipient) you must SET YOUR MIDI VOLUME CONTROL at the right level BEFORE OPENING THE NEW MESSAGE).

  3. To compose a Email message, GO TO any of the mail boxes of Outlook Express .
  4. To compose a News message, GO TO the Newsgroup selected.
  5. With the toolbar button "Compose a message" and the option "More Stationery...", FIND the Stationery named SonM@il Plus [optional title]... and always with the extension .htm.
Several of them (which are installed when the program is registered) are developed "for special occasions" and have a title added.
You may select ANY OF THEM or the basic one, the only installed in the Trial Version and named "SonM@il Plus - With Warning.htm". In ALL OF THEM are configured the last sounds selected (with the exception of one of the background sounds preconfigured as "locked" in those "for special occasions").
  6. SELECT the "Stationery SonM@il Plus..." you do prefer.
  7. OPEN IT by pushing the "Open" button.
  8. The window "New message" will open and the configured sounds WILL BEGIN TO BE HEARD, as they will be played at the arrival of the message.
  9. Edit, publish and send the message in the usual way.
(You may add the backgrounds and images you want, even to the messages "for special occasions". Moreover, its images may be deleted or changed if you want. But, the preconfigured background sound of these messages "for special occasions" DOES NOT CAN BE CHANGED and always will replace the configured as background sound of the same type).
VERY IMPORTANT WARNINGS:
  1. The selection, and opening of the "Stationery SonM@il Plus..." MUST BE THE FIRST ACTION to compose the new sonorous message.
DO NOT FORGET THIS: (we repeat it once more because it is near the ONLY cause of troubleshooting to some users) the FIRST OPERATION TO BE CARRIED OUT to compose a new message (when already in one of the mail boxes or in a Newsgroup) is SELECTING AND OPEN, among the Stationery at your disposition in Outlook Express, one of the named SonM@il Plus - [optional title].htm
If it is added later, WHEN THE NEW MESSAGE HAS BEEN ALREADY OPEN, the sounds ARE NOT ACTIVATED and you MUST delete the message and begin a new one in the correct way.

  2. When the "New message" has been already opened, its "Stationery" MUST NOT BE CHANGED by other.

  3. While editing the message, YOU MUST NOT ALLOW the cursor to pass into the lowest zone of page, under the two lines (red and white) wich may be seen, at least one of them, depending of the background color, at the foot of page.
If the cursor passes these lines, the source code of the message can result partially deleted, with unforeseeable consequences for the sound replaying.
If the cursor passed accidentally to this zone , even everything seems correct and the sounds continue being heard normally (also after publishing the message) it is advisable DELETING IT and composing another new message in the right way.

Which programs can replay the messages?

SonM@il Plus is an application developed to improving Outlook Express for Windows'95/98/NT with sound features.

(The known differences of implementation of the programming languages between the more used browsers do virtually impossible, by now, developing compatible applications for all of them).

The sounds sent in the Outlook Express messages only can be heard if the recipient uses this same mail and news client and, of course, has a sound card well configured and active.

But the recipient DOES NOT NEED at all to have installed SonM@il Plus in his PC.

Known problems with this version.

This version does not contain no known "bug".

As it happens with any program, formatting or changing the hard disk (without complete recovery of its files) or some other accidental circumstances which could alter its contents, so as certain changes of the Operative System, may delete essential files to run the program doing necessary to reinstall it.

These cases excluded, most of the problems which could appear are caused by ignoring or misunderstanding the instructions contained in this HELP and in the README.TXT file. Both remain easily accessible (from its associated icon in the group "Start - Programs - SonM@il Plus) EVEN AFTER THE TRIAL VERSION WERE EXPIRED OR UNINSTALLED.

If you have any problem, review carefully the content of that documentation where, very probably, you will find its cause and its solution.

A lot of infotips which appear when the mouse pointer touches most of the elements of the program windows, so as the messages which the program opens while it runs, do very easy managing it.

Notwithstanding, we hope (and thank in advance) that users submit us any troubleshooting they could have, so as many suggestions they may have to improving the program.
You may do it by clicking this mailbox:

Email here  the author.
You may observe that, at the beginning of a new message composing, the "Insert signature" command of menu and toolbar of Outlook Express are disabled.
This is not a bug of SonM@il Plus and happens also with the other stationery.
To enable the command, save for a moment the message as a draft and open it again. Doing so, you may see the command has become again enabled.
The problem is not with SonM@il Plus but with Outlook Express.

A list of some possible problems.

ANSWERS:

1) SonM@il Plus CAN`T BE INSTALLED and it appears a message warning that "The file MSVBVM50.DLL is not found".

You are trying of installing SonM@il Plus in a PC that DOES NOT HAVE INSTALLED the VB5 "runtime libraries" necessary to run the program. YOU MUST INSTALL THEM IN YOUR SYSTEM (See "System requirements" at the begining of this HELP and the item "INSTALL" in the README.TXT document).

2) I can not find the stationery "SonM@il Plus" in Outlook Express.

With the exception of some very rare circumstances (mainly if there are problems in your installation of Outlook Express), the installation of SonM@il Plus is fast and without problems and the "SonM@il Plus....htm Stationery" is loaded in the same folder which contains the rest of Stationery of Outlook Express, where it is easily found with the option "More Stationery" of the "Compose message" button of the Outlook Express toolbar.

If you can not find it there, it means that the installation of SonM@il Plus was not carried out in THE BEST WAY nor in THE BEST FOLDER. (The program works perfectly installed in any folder, but the above indicated is the best, just to find more easily those Stationery, which must be used to compose the sonorous messages with Outlook Express).

In any case, since you could run the program and/or have access to this HELP, it is SURE that the installation was correct, but in other folder.
If you DID NOT CHANGED the default installation folder during the setup procedure, the Stationery has to have been loaded in the folder named also "Stationery", in the path

"C:\Program files\Common files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery"

which is the folder where the English version of Outlook Express is installed "by default".
I you can not find it there, use the command "Start - Find - Files or folders..." (search for Son*.htm in the C: drive).

(See the item "INSTALL" of the "README.TXT" for more information about this topic").

3) When the New Message opens, no sound is heard.

Assuming you opened one of the "SonM@il Plus...htm Stationery", AS THE FIRST ACTION TO COMPOSE A NEW MESSAGE, (See above "Composing a sonorous message") this may have two causes:

a) The VOLUME CONTROLS are unselected or set at null volume, the speakers unplugged or shut down, or the sound card incorrectly installed. (Test whether the sounds of Windows, as an example of WAV format, and any MIDI file you may have in your hard disk are well heard).

b) The "SonM@il Plus...htm Stationery" has its three sounds configured as "Without sound". (Test the configured sounds with the "Play" button of the Main Sound Selector).

4) When I open one of stationery "SonM@il Plus for special occasions", to compose a new message, one of the background sounds I had configured is not heard.

This is NORMAL. The background sound preconfigured in those Stationery is played instead any other of the same type configured (but does not delete it; so this last continue being played by the "basic stationery").

5) How can I stop playing or lower the volume of sounds while composing the message?

You may use the "Volume controls" of windows, which you may open from "Start - Programs - Accessories - Multimedia" or doubleclicking the little speaker icon in "the tray" of the desktop taskbar.

6) I can not use the "Insert signature" button or command because they are disabled.

You are right. It may be observed that, at the beginning of a new message composing, the "Insert signature" command of menu and toolbar of Outlook Express are disabled.
But this is not a bug ofSonM@il Plus and happens also with the other stationery.
To enable the command, save for a moment the message as a draft and open it again. Doing so, you may see the command return to be enabled.
The problem is not with SonM@il Plus but with Outlook Express.

7) When I publish the message, a window opens warning that some images were not found.

This can have three causes:
1) Perhaps you copied ALL THE BODY of a sonorous message of SonM@il Plus, AFTER PUBLISHED, in the new message.
Then, hidden included in the copied stuff, was the "source code" of the message, already codified to be sent, with the URLs of its inserted files ALSO CODIFIED and so IMPOSSIBLE OF BEING FOUND by the new message.
When copying text from a sonorous message, you must do it by SELECTING ONLY THE TEXT LINES to be copied. Do not never use the "Select all" command with messages of SonM@il Plus.
2) Another cause might be that the image files were deleted, after inserted in the message (by example, while the message was saved as a draft, before publishing it..).
You must DELETE this message and compose a new message by the correct way.
3) If the problem remains, its cause may be that the "source code" of some Stationery has been corrupted.
Then, you must REINSTALL SonM@il Plus. (See the item "REINSTALL" in the README.TXT for more information about how to do it).

8) When I select the published message, several error messages do appear.

This is probably due to the accidental deleting of a part of the message "source code", possibly because while editing, the cursor passed to the bottom zone of the page, under the two lines (red and white) which appear at the foot of the window of the new message.
You MUST DELETE this message and compose a new one by the correct way.
If the problem ALWAYS appears, its might be caused by the accidental deleting of some essential files of the program and it should be REINSTALLED.
(See the item "REINSTALL" in the README.TXT for more information about how to do it).

9) When I select the published message, other sounds are heard, before of or mixed with the configured ones.

This is NORMAL while the new message is loaded and the "Warning" (if you did not selected the "Without Warning stationery").
The heard sounds are the sound files configured in your same PC, not the contained in the message, and they cease of being heard when the loading of the message is completed and the "Warning" is accepted.
Do not worry! The sound messages WILL BE HEARD CORRECTLY AT THE MESSAGE ARRIVAL.

10) When I open the published message, a lot of mixed sounds are heard.

As, to open the message you must select it previously, the sounds of the selected message in the "Quick preview" and those of the opened message in its window are played SIMULTANEOUSLY, with some seconds of "biassing" between them...
To avoid it, you may minimize the opened message and unselect the "Quick preview" of the message by clicking OUT OF ITS HEADING.
this done, only the sounds of the opened message, which window you may restore, will be heard.

11) When I select the published message, no sound is heard.

Assuming that while composing the message the sounds were correctly heard, the problem can be due to a bad setting of the "Volume controls", or to the same causes of the previous cases (see 8) and 9) ).

12) When I select or open the published message, the MIDI sound volume level is very low.

The MIDI files contain information about the sound VOLUME LEVEL. If it is set very low, the sound can be difficult to heard (or even not be heard at all). You must set a fair volume level to these MIDI sounds WHEN CREATING THE MESSAGE.
(SEE above the topic "Creating a sonorous message"). 13) When I select the published message, the voice message is heard with difficulty, hidden under the background sounds.

If the "Volume controls" are correctly set, the problem is caused by the LOW VOLUME LEVEL you used to record the voice message.
You must record the voice or sound messages with the highest possible volume level, without producing sound distortion.
(The "Sound recorder" allows increase the volume level of the registered sounds and control its amplitude with its "oscilloscope". Use these resources when recording your messages).

14) The size of the published message is very big.

The message size depends of its duration and of the size of the image and sound files its contains.
Try of using files of small size. Those of images ALWAYS in GIF or JPG format.
The MIDI sound files generally are not big.
The size of WAV files may be VERY BIG, of A LOT OF MEGABYTES, depending of its length and of its recording parameters.
When recording sound files, set previously the recording parameters with LOWEST quality needed by its content.
Never do you record in stereo a mono sound.
Never do you record in CD or "radio" quality a voice message (if it is not a song...).
For the voice messages never select higher quality than "telephone" and, if they last more than a few seconds, record them in a COMPRESSED.
It is possible recording voice messages, very acceptable and clear, with compression "codecs" which spend less than 20 KB for every minute of message length!

15) After reinstalling the Trial Version, a message appears reporting that it has expired.

The Trial Version can be run 10 times in the same PC. Reinstalling DOES NOT INCREASES THIS NUMBER.
So, it may be supposed that you have used the 10 allowed trials.
Very rarely, it might have happened that you were "canceled" (and at the same time spent) the ten trials without configuring any sound.
Clicking "Register" in the icons group SonM@il Plus, of Start - Programs, and see if at the bottom of the page "Register Instructions", under the red line, and the text REGISTER DATA: the "Register Number" and the "User Name" do appear.
If it do, as you will may see, follow the "Register Instruction" for application of a Register and Personal License and you will get your Registered Version, fully featured, your License Number and the collection of SonM@il Plus Stationery.
If you want to practise more with the program before register, you may INSTALL AND TRY the Trial Version, in as many OTHER PCs as you want (without no expiration time).

16) After installing the "Unlock Program", SonM@il Plus neither runs nor gives any message.

See that the INDIVIDUALIZED "Unlock Program" was well installed and that the file "SonM@il Plus.exe" exists in the folder where SonM@il Plus was installed.
That folder must be "by default" the folder named "Stationery", in the path "C:\Program files\Common files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery".
If you can not find it there, repeat the install of the INDIVIDUALIZED "Unlock Program".

See that the "User Name" of your PC (which you can see in "Control Panel - System - General") IS THE SAME which you sent in your Register Application and that the "Register Number" (which you may read in the "REGISTER DATA", in the name of the ZIP file which contains your INDIVIDUALIZED "Unlock Program" and also in the name of the README.TXT of the INDIVIDUALIZED "Unlock Program" IS THE SAME which appears in the "REGISTER DATA", at the foot of the page "Register Instructions". (See 15) ).
If they ARE NOT the same AND IT IS THE SAME PC, send us an email explaining your problem.
Your License only allows you to install the program IN PCs OF THE SAME REGISTERED USER.
To run it in PCs of others users, you must install in them the TRIAL VERSION and sen the application of a new License and Register, as you did in your First Installation.

17) After installing the "Unlock Program", SonM@il Plus runs again but I can not find the "SonM@il Plus...htm Stationery" with the Outlook Express.

See that the ZIP file of the INDIVIDUALIZED "Unlock Program" you have received CONTAINS the "SonM@il Plus.....htm Stationery".
IF THEY ARE THERE, repeat correctly the INSTALLING of your INDIVIDUALIZED "Unlock Program".
IF THEY ARE NOT THERE, send us an email exposing your problem. We will send you immediately a right INDIVIDUALIZED "Unlock Program" inclosing them.

18) The program ceased of running after reinstalling Windows.

If you reinstalled Windows'95 or 98 in a different directory that the previously existing and without recovery the COMPLETE contents of its folders, you must INSTALL again the TRIAL VERSION and send the application of a new Register, following the "Register Instructions".
Your Personal License gives you the right to THREE FREE INSTALLATIONS, in the same or in other PCs OF THE SAME REGISTERED USER.
As soon as we receive your email with your application of the new Register, we will send you FREE OF CHARGES a new INDIVIDUALIZED "Unlock Program" which will restore your Registered Version of SonM@il Plus.

19) The program ceased of running after installing Windows'98 over Windows'95.

If you made a "clean" installation, i.e. with previous uninstalling of Windows'95, you will have lost your installation of SonM@il Plus (as those of EVERY PROGRAM which were installed in your PC...) and you will have to do a NEW INSTALLATION following the usual procedure (see the README.TXT document of SonM@il Plus for more details).
If you updated your Windows'95 to Windows'98 without changing its directory your installation of SonM@il Plus should have been maintained and the program should have been continue running.
If did not happen so, something was wrong in your updating from Windows'95 to Windows'98.
REINSTALL your SonM@il Plus following the instruction given in the item "REINSTALL" of the "README.TXT" document.
If, after reinstalling the Trial Version the "Register Number" in the REGISTER DATA of the "Register Instructions" page remain the same, you may reinstall your INDIVIDUALIZED "Unlock Program" which will restore your Registered Version with all its features.
If the REGISTER DATA have changed, you will have to do a new Register for a NEW INSTALLATION. (See above).

20) The program ceased of running after installing Windows NT over Windows'95 or 98.

Windows'95/98 and Windows NT can be installed both in the same PC by the system of "dual boot".
(See your Windows documentation for information about this procedure)
If you installed Windows NT in this way, your SonM@il Plus in Windows'95/98 should continue running right IN THIS PLATFORM, but it will not run in Windows NT.
It is not advisable (nor it is really needed) to do TWO INSTALLATIONS OF SonM@il Plus, IN THE SAME PC, one in Windows'95/98 and other in Windows NT.
We recommend you to maintain the installation actually running and initialize the computer in Windows'95/98 when you want use SonM@il Plus.

If you DID NOT USE THE "DUAL BOOT" SYSTEM (and so, you only have now installed Windows NT), several essential files to run SonM@il Plus were deleted in the installing procedure and YOU MUST DO A NEW INSTALLATION in your Windows NT, in the usual way.
